Its pretty hard to solo in this game, but having monk as sub or main helps alot.

mine is 15-22 fire damage, some have rare stats and some doesnt, price depends on stats, but they should worth more than 1000g.

Ahh, the sword require 12 Swordmanship, and i only have 9 swordmanship. I could still use the sword. I was doing lower damage than the slashing...
