A Dead Glint is a Good Glint *SPOILERS*

I must have accidentally skipped the cut-scene when I beat her.
Too used to just clicking SKIP after loosing to her, I guess. And yes, the reward is 1000xp. Savage Slash did work out nicely. I tried to time her AoE's and interrupt them, which I somehow managed to do. It's one of my favorite skills, actually, esp. in PvP. Nothing like running up to someone rezzing, interrupting them, and hitting for extra damage too because they were casting or chasing down monks who only stop to heal, at which point they get hit pretty hard. I've put down many a foe with it.

I can definitely say that Savage Slash helped.

He has hundred blades that means he was really Gunning for her, I beat her once as well with a necro party (3 warriors/necros 3 Necros/whatever and 2 healer henchies) we all did Grenths Balance on her poor thing didn't know what hit her. (Grenth is the best way to kill her with good hp max like 520 u can do 400+ damage on her

Umm hundred blades isnt that great vs a single opponent like Glint.. He may just like savage slash, tho i think ill go gunning for her now, this thread has inspired me!

When i did that mission, we were going to annhialate glint, we had a wicked team, but one was dumb and ran out, i never got to fight him/her. WAH!
Is it worth redoing the mission just to kill him/her?

Do you guys do this in dragon's lair? When I went there I couldn't attack her.

Taking down Glint was quite fun. What you can't see in those screens is that we had dance party around her corpse afterwards in celebration.

Ok, I've attempted to kill her about 10 times so far, gotten close once or twice. What exactly happens story-wise if you do manage it? Nothing special? Do you get to keep an egg or something? If you don't want to publically post it, just pm me, thanks

adacia, get your tanks together with interrupts, and counter her crystal mist and crystal hibernation skills. If she doesn't have those on, she doesn't do the 100-damage when you hit her. It's easy after that.

haha I killed glint with a bunch of random newbs, it isnt anything special.. lets just say, we sorta won the "cheap way" hehehe and I basically saved the day by myself..

At the beggining we were like WTF and she pwned most of our team and we did mass ressurecting and stuff like that.. but I (Aurial Sidus) devised a certain strategy that rendered glint harmless. The only way she could damage us is if one of our warriors touched her jagged skin.. but everyone had 100% health the entire time. We spent like an 10 minutes trying to kill her but she kept using that thing that healed her, so i told my teammates to use interrupting and after 10 minutes more they decided to listen to me.. we won eventually.

It required no skill at all, really haha

My first time killing her. It was actually pretty easy. My only job was to interupt her skills. I don't think she got any skills off the whole battle.
