Sickle drop rates...

has anyone else been getting more sickles since the X-mas update?...granted, they're still not max damage, but i've had 4 drop in the last two days when i doubt i had that many drop in the previous ~376 hours...

anyone else found this?

i got 2 in space of 3-4 mins today, both worthless but those were my first 2 sickle drops

Same here, got my first Sickle drop today as well (3-5).

Might just be you're fighting different creatures today. I can't remember exactly what it is (one of the jungle critters I think), but they drop sickles all the time. Never any good ones, of course.

Umm..are sicles worth that much? I Know i rarely see them, but I found a rare one about a month ago over by Henge of Denravi, I thought it was useless, so sold it to the merchant:/ Anyone wanna explain why these are hot items?

There not worth anything anymore unless that near max, very near max. The jungle drops mid-high damage ones so its the best bet to farm jungle trolls outside of henge.

I believe there is no Gold sickle found before so if you did

I always get sickles like their going out of style when I farm Charr Carvings in Nolani academy. USually the 5-10 dmg ones with no req.

Sickles arent worth jack unless you defy logic and get one thats never been dropped.

I wonder if anyone has found a Purple sickle once.. If there is one, most chance a Charr in Pre-Searing dropt it, they drop lots of sickles.

While it's been FOREVER since I found that sicle, I'm 99% sure it was gold, but it's been awhile. I'm also fairly certain I found it around Denravi. I let a few good items go during my new times (a gold sephis axe 15>50, taht some dude told me wasnt worth much but gave me 1k for it) and other stuff along the way. I'm a little wiser now about what to sell and what to keep Anyways, I'll keep my eye open, btw, I found another rare sephis axe today, though not so great.. Anyway, maybe I'll gofarm things around Denravi and see if I find nother sicle.

i got sickles oozing out of a very uncomfortable place (back of a voltswagen to you jay and sombob fans) but none are ever 20 damage

i got a 6-16 sickle drop in kryta not to long ago, i just sold it to the merchant. at what damage point do sickles start being worth somthing?

I have a 6-20 sickle and 6-20 tribal axe, the sickle only just dropped last nite, they arent max but fun for IW.

actually, the drops came in several spots...1 from minos at Elona, 2 from Charr at Nolani while i was farming charr carvings and a 6-20 from an ettin at Nebo...

I've noticed several times people selling sickles...must've been an increase. Mind you, I've never myself found a sickle of much worth. Maybe that's just me though.

If you're using IW, you should be using Firespitter.

About 10 low damage sickles dropped for me while farming gargoyles.
