is fire island actually in the game?

Is it? what about crystal desert? THe mission in sanctum cay says about escapeing there but i died before i could finish it.

You have to finish Sanctun Cay first.

hmm i have finished sanctum cay and still am unable to reach fire island

You have to finish a quite a few more missions before the Ring of Fire Islands will be open to you.

However, where do the last few missions take place?

fire island, and trust me, last mission is SOOOOOO LONG AND HARD!! my party spent like 2 hours and we finally got on lich and died, man we were pissed.

I believe after 3 missions in shiverpeaks you get to fire island (not 100% sure though, I explored and skipped a mission )

Yup 3 missions in Southern SHiverpeaks and 3 missions on Fire Chain...

Fire island is endgame.
