Trading and transferring gold

I am sorry if this has been covered, but I can't find an answer using search.

How do I sell something to another player when they respond to an ad on the trade channel? How do they preview the item, exchange the price, etc. without risk to either party?

How do I transfer gold to a guild? I want to contribute toward a cape from my alts.

Click on their name/character on screen (not in the chat window) and click on the little "Trade" button next to their health bar on the top. This will enter you into a trade window, you can drag items into the trade slots or drag them out if you want to move them, when you want to finalize the trade, click on trade. You can always modify the trade before both sides accepting it.
If you want to transfer gold to a guild member, you can meet up with them and donate some gold by using the trading system as well.

I tried this with a belt pouch and it would not let me drag it into the window. Is the pouch not a tradeable item or did I miss something?

If it is customized then no.

Also it can't be traded from storage, you have to put it in your inventory and trade it from that.

According to the new patchlist changes, we may soon be able to transfer gold much more easily!

I have two in my inventory that are empty and one equipped with 5 items. Is the problem that I have one equipped even though I am trying to sell the other two?
