Been raising a new crop...

This is a modification of my Ripost-o-matic build, to better accomodate the perils encountered while Wurm hunting. The biggest change I would make IF I had a req. 8 sword would be to pump points into Healing and use Live Vicariously as my permanent enchantment. I do NOT recommend Vigorous Spirit (though you could try) simply because it's not maintained and you could get in trouble with Concussion Shot trying to cast it.

It would behoove you to invest in a Zealous Hilt, especially since they're so cheap. In this case, it regens energy MUCH faster than Balthazaar's Spirit ever could (as long as you're not blind, hence Mend Ailment). And frees up a skill slot.

Final thrust could be replaced with Power Attack, Sever Artery, or really any other +damage melee or sword skill. I just chose Final Thrust on this run because I wanted to do 65 damage to a Sand Wurm. Damn things' AL must be in the thousands...

Why Mend Ailment? Well, once you learn the Wurm Run (no I'm not telling you, it's easy enough to find on your own), you'll know to expect getting blinded a LOT. Enchanted Bows love throwing dirt into your eyes, and Sand Elementals love their Eruption spell.

I can get 20 shells a day easily with this, if I put in the time. Been farming more with my Monk lately, trying to earn back the 120k I spent in runes before the retard patch on 11/10. But the show goes on...

Or you could use tanzits defender and not even bring mend ailment, and then you could sub in flurry to help quickly replenish adrenaline from final thrust and riposte...

Yeah it's very tweakable, and I'm sure many variations will come of it.

For those who can afford Tanzit's, no problem. I always try to recommend the cheapest equipment possible (since not everybody has my kind of money), hence my trusty 5k Thorgall's. And I prefer instant recovery from blindness over quick recovery. When you hit a group of 2 or 3 Enchanted Bows, if you can't get the blindness off fast, you might as well respawn. As soon as it wears off from one, the other will immediately Throw Dirt, so you'll always be blind unless you can remove it quickly and cause them to waste their spell (it has a 45 seconds recharge).

Guardian of the Light surely you're not getting the most out of your sword as ther Req is 9 and you only have your swordmanship up to 8.

What kind of drops can you expect? I mean, do they just drop shells and gold?

Mamnoon Lagoon
==============

Vargil the White
----------------
Location: Northwest corner nearby the Artisan
Collects: 5 Ancient Eyes
* Healing Ankh, Energy +10 (req. 8 Healing Prayers)
Armor +5 (while enchanted)
Health +45 (while enchanted)

For 2 less energy, you can get your Healing down to 8 (+3 Mending only requires 8), and raise your Swordsmanship to 9 (as was stated by chippxero) to get the full benefit of the sword. But, nice mod! I hadn't even thought of the extra health from the collector's ankh.

That run will pop out 3-6 Wurms every time. What you do with them is your business.

O I can't believe it I forgot to take the attriubute points from the smiting prayers and put them into the Sword again >.< Anyways now it works fine.

Yes the Healing Anhk was from drokar's but I heard about the one that give 2 less energy but I wanted a max one because I also use it in my super tank build for Shield/focus Swaping

Cheapest way to get a farming build for this when you have platemail/knights:

1.Buy Major Absorbation and Vigor at LEAST!

2.Get the Collect's Healing Ankh from the guy meantioned above.

3. Get a MAx collecter's sword (I think I got one from this guy outside heroes)

4. Buy a Zealous sword hilt and a Sword grib of defense/fortude

And now your a farmer it may take a while fro you to get used to farming.

One day, I'll find a way to make a W/N do wurm runs...

Got to go sword though it seems since swords go through armor better than axes thanks to higher dps vs. spike damage being resisted by super high armor...

I'm thinking something along these lines:

Victory Is Mine! {E}
Dolyak Signet
For Great Justice!
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Desperation Blow
Flurry
Rotting Flesh

Not sure about the attributes but at max tactics you'd be shooting out 72 health ViMs, FGJ + Flurry + Riposte for 63 damage blocks pretty much every other attack. Whether or not it's enough defense would be the only concern I can think of, then again Desperation Blow can inflict 4 different conditions on top of Rotting Flesh... so a lot of health every 15 seconds. Might work.

Plus, 0 attribute sword builds are fun.

Plus, 0 attribute sword builds are fun. They sound like it takes forever to kill something. Also, Rotting Flesh is WAAYY too expensive for my build. I'm not getting extra gear for my energy

But you do have an idea for me to work on if it's a one on one fight with a Wurm...

8+1+3 Swordsmanship
9+1 Strength
9+1 Tactics
10 Death Magic

Sever Artery
Gash
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Bonetti's Defense
Dolyak Signet
Plague Touch
Virulence {E}

Disease won't spread to you since you're not a Wurm [whew] But I think this could help a large chunk in fact...
