Due to her upbringing, Sara has no tolerance for males, especially non warrior types whom she considered worse than useless. Her fiercely independent spirit saw her through to Ascalon City shortly before the searing. Sara seized the opportunity to train as a warrior for the King although as a trainee she could best many of her “trainers”

Anna Mossity

Age 20

Born in Ascalon and mostly shielded from direct combat during the events of the searing by a wealthy family. Finished her training in the New Ascalon settlement and participated in the mop up operations dealing with clearing Old Ascalon of the Charr. During this time she met some old warriors who knew her father and she learned of his many deeds. Anna's mother had always refused to speak of him and this new knowlege was exciting to Anna. She began dreaming of being a warrior herself.

Anna left a trail of swirling dust as she plodded along the road. Her father's huge Brute Sword and Ageis slung over her back made a stark contrast to her slight build and she struggled with the load. Her only other bag contained a few personal effects and the new Rouges set she had been secretly saving and buying a piece at a time until it was completed only yesterday. It seemed to be fate that her acquisition of the last piece of the armor and the news that a ship sailing for Cantha needing mercenaries all happened at the same time.
Anna was a Mesmer but she was going against her mother's wishes. Trained (and quite accomplished) as a Domination/Illusion mesmer, Anna had chosen another path. She chose to honor her deceased father and learn the ways of the Illusionary Warrior. Unfortunately, this made her les than popular with her sisters and mother and was the reason she was now headed towards the ship.

Taillen Jituri (Me/- 20)
A compulsive explorer who, while waiting for his cousin after the Searing, unknowingly battled through to Sanctum Cay, not once serving missions for his country. When his cousin finally made it out of the Academy, Taillen was shunned, because he was too "powerful"; he also loves showing off his speedy meteor showers.
In the days when Sorrows Furnace was newly discovered, he came into a great deal of money. Taillen created a guild, The One True Frog, in honor of his holiness The Frog, who Sees all and Knows almost everything. A guild hall was bought; we recruited far and wide, but our recruits were too lazy. In sadness, Taillen handed the Hall keys over to Supreme Minion Army General, Astral Czarina of the tall neck, and The Legendary Tank, Ayake Wildfire of No Absorption.
Now, Taillen spends his time skipping stones across Amnoon Oasis, along with fellow explorer Elliot Avery. He only comes out when he feels like showing off his fancy pink clothes, or tormenting little rangers.
At night he mumbles "Ener... deni... nerf..." Occasionally he shatters others' delusions by being brutally honest, for example, "i fed my cat"


Elliot Avery (Mo/Me 20)
Elliot is a victim of Thunderheadkeepmonkuerosis. He repeats the following incessantly... "Stay together!..Enchantment shattered!..Watch the gates!..Ghosts are our friend..Fire catapult..Trapper?..Where is the other monk?..TO THE KINGG!! AHHHHH!..WHO'S ON WEST PULT?!...Jades, East Gate..I'm using Ressurect on Astral Czarina!..NOOO!..Mursaat Boss coming!..NOT INFUSED?!..AHHHHHHH TO THE KING TO THE KI- .." while rocking back and forth on his heels, dribbling.

Name: Sesha Nugra

Profession: Mesmer/Elementialist

Where from: When Sesha was a young girl, she had a great affection for magic. From her first wand, to her first days training with Lady Althea, to learning every written trick, to inventing a few of her own tricks. Sesha accomplished this in a short time period, albeit later in her lifetime. Coming from a poor family, she had to first get a job caring for Boba's Yaks in Yak's Bend. After she raised enough money, she decided to quit her job and move to a quaint little house in Ashford.

It was 3 years until anything signifigant happened for Sesha. She had been practicing her spells with Lady Althea when she first saw the sky turning black. It was at first a cloudy day, but a single black could had appeared over the charr lands, and it was expanding. She dismissed the initial sighting, and went on practicing.

After she had lunch in the theater, Sesha decided to go to Ascalon City to see if anyone else had noticed the strange cloud. The town was buzzing with chatter. King Adelburn was recruiting for the Ascalonian Army, to finally push the charr back, and destroy them.

Sesha pondered her situation. She had a fairly normal life, but craved for some excitement. At this point, her life would change forever. She had decided to join the Army.

There were challenging tasks to be done before being conscribed as a soldier, which Sesha had easily passed through. She graduated at the top of her class from The Academy, and was pulled aside by her favorite professor, Dr. Vokura, after the graduation ceremony. He handed Sesha a note, and said, "You must follow the instructions in this note very carefully, Sesha, for it will decide your future..." Without time to ask any questions, the Docter walked away.

Sesha,

Congratulations on your recent graduation from the academy. I am most impressed with your work there. However, I request of your assistance on an urgent military matter. Arrive at the Academy promptly at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning, I will meet you there. Again, congratulations.

Prince Rurik

Sesha's mind raced as she read the letter. What could he be speaking of? Why me?

As morning came, Sesha sipped her tea and reread the letter from the Rurik many times. When the clocktower in Ascalon struck eight times, Sesha gathered her things and headed to the Academy.

On her way to town, a little girl followed behind her trying not to be noticed. Every time Sesha turned around, the girl would hide in the nearest bush. There was a small open area before the gate to Ascalon City, and Sesha would confront the girl there.

Upon entering the plain, Sesha turned around and said, "I can see you're following me."

The little girl poked her head out and began to talk quickly. "Hi, I'm Gwen. My daddy was a hero in the Ascalonian Army, I want to be just like him. Say, that's a pretty nice flower you picked there, can I have it?"

Sesha bent over to hand Gwen the flower, "Nice to meet you Gwen, I'm Sesha."

"Thanks for the flower, it's beautiful. Can I follow you?"

"I'm sorry Gwen, but i have important business to attend to. Besides, you've been following me for almost an hour." Sesha turned and started to walk away.

She heard Gwen mumble something, but couldn't quite make it out.

Sesha entered the enormous city to find but a few people crowded by the Grand Steps. Walking at a quickened pace, do to an adrenaline surge, she turned raght and began walking up the hill towards the Academy. Only half of the merchant stalls are filled.... this sure is a wierd day. she thought walking through the "Merchant's Row."

Ahhhhh, the Academy. The sight of those large steel doors, and carved nickel panels made her smile everytime she laid eyes upon them. She walked up to a herald, Sir Tydus, and asked how she should go upon meeting Rurik.

"Rurik is waiting for you, follow me," Tydus stated bluntly as he motioned for the guards to open the doors.

Complete silence as they walked across the bridge, Sesha could see the Prince waiting. Another adrenaline surge hit her, and she shook for a brief moment.

"Are you alright?" Tydus asked.

"Yes, just a little nervous."

"Ah, yes. The Prince does not do this often, you must be special."

Adrock Thorston - Necromancer
Age: 35

The Thorstons had always lived a somewhat peaceful life in the remote northern kingdom of Ascalon. Adrock had always been quite an eccentric person, until that fateful day. He had just recently turned eleven-years old when bandits raided their home. He had no chance against them, and soon he was out numbered and cornered in his own home. They efforlessly slaughtered his parents; and tossed the corpses to their spiders. Adrock was bound and sent to their overlord, who had set up their headquarters at the base of the Northern Shiverpeaks. Their, he told Adrock "Your father had me arrested and inprisoned for 20 years, and now that I have disposed of him, I will finally have the pleasure of returning the favor."

And for 20 years, the once inoccent Adrock had become a shell of what he once was. Endless torture, meager rations, his body was covered in scars and was constantly disease ridden. Thoughts about his former life no longer remained, only pain and suffering. Malic, hatred, repugnence, animosity, all of these emotions were merely childs-play for him. He only had one thing bent on his mind: To endlessly slaughter them. His chance finally came on day when the Stone Summit raided the bandit's headquarters. They had combed the entire facitity but they felt no pity and left him to die. He cursed them to eternal torment, but he could do nothing more. In frustration, he menecingly shouted, "Oh Grenth! I cast my life and soul at your feet. Free me from this bondage and I will serve you untill the very end of my life." Annoyed by his statement, a lone Stone Summit stayed behind to deliver the death blow to Adrock. He lazily sharpened his axe, and soon hefted it above Adrocks head, who was expecting the "Swish!" that would free him from his suffering.

But that wasn't ment to be.

A rumble came from beneth his feet, and an enormous hole ruptured from the floor. For only a few moments, the world was silent, and the room Adrock was held in was filled with mist and an eerie green glow that levitated. And lo! The avatar of Grenth appeared from the mists. In a moments notice, he entered the body of the dwarf, and emerged moments later. The Dwarf uncontrolably shook, and then deteriorated. Then, the avatar smiled upon Adrock, and approached him. His breath violently sucked all of the thoughts and emotions out of Adrock, leaving him alone and frightened. Then Grenth said to him, "I have heard your call, pathetic mortal. You may be of some use. Come, I will entrust you with the powers of death and blood." And with that, Grenth outstretched his hands to Adrock. As soon as he took the grotesque hand, a burst of pain and agony errupted within him. He was lifted off the ground, but the pain abruptly stopped, and a dark aura engulfed him. Grenth told him "Use your powers well, pathetic mortal." And soon after, Grenth departed to his realm, leaving Adrock in awe. And to this day, Adrock torments Tyria and its inhabitants, attempting to cure his thirst for revenge and to empty his hatred upon the world that caused him so much pain.

Isaiah Kingsley
Age: 23
Profession: Necromancer

Isaiah was born son of a lesser noble in the Regent Valley. From early childhood he was taught to rely on his own strength in combat, and brought up in the ways of a warrior. One day when he was only fourteen years old he was venturing into the Catacombs of Ashford with his friends, and they were set upon by a band of gargoyles. Though they fought bravely, they fell one by one to the beasts, until only Isaiah and one other were left, and the gargoyles still three in number.

Struck by terror and desperation, Isaiah sent up a prayer to any god who would listen that his friends be brought back to help him. His plea was indeed answered--not by Dwayna, but by the lord who held sway in those dark halls. From the corpses of his fallen friends were born fiends of muscle and bone, which fought alongside the two remaining boys until the gargoyles were dispatched. From that day forward Isaiah pledged his allegiance to Grenth, who had saved him and his friend from an untimely death.

Isaiah found quickly that he was far better suited to magic than physical combat, and though he still preferred a sword and shield to a wand and cesta for many years after, it was truly his spells that kept him alive in battle. In time he came to fully embrace his calling, and left his studies of the sword arts to fully concentrate on magic. After ascending from the ranks of men he found favor with Lyssa, Melandru, and even Dwayna, and has called upon each of their powers at times. Still it is Grenth who holds his undying loyalty, and from whom his greatest powers spring forth.

One day, randomly, Elekus found himself standing in a town full of people complaining about some odd, alien word known as "lag." As he walked around and asked questions, people began to go "like Z.O.M.G, STFU noob." Ever since this odd day, Elekus has searched the globe trying to understand the meaning behind the word noobie. Occasionally, he likes to go to Lions Arch and shout "Penis," then run away in shame. The end.

Higure was born in a small village, wich made its profit from mainly fishing and hunting boars in the woods. Higure happened to be born a Hunters son, his father was a very skilled hunter but failed in every attempt to teach Higure to use a bow. Higure was the worst shot in the entire village, He couldnt hit a rock from even a feet away. So Higure desided the use of bows was something not meant for him and practised other arts, he found himself to train with melee weapons but he wasnt as strong as the warriors in the village, so Higure tought up a solution "I cant beat them trough force, then I will beat them by sheer skill alone". Higure began his lone training in the village woods, by training with his eyes closed he could visualise the fight and respond more quick, after a few years he was the most skillfulll fighter in the village. Higure was happy, he tought "I'm going to edge my skills for once more and then my training is over"and went for the last time into the woods.
He entered the woods, but quickly dicovered something was wrong, there were no animals. Higure drew his blade, as he heard a moaning sound coming from the bushes. As he peeked trough the bushes he saw undead monstosities gnawing at dead bears, he noticed there was a bear cub trapped under the corpse of his parents. Higure sneaked forward as a still wind, the giant rotting man turned around slowly sniffing up air, the creature saw the cub pulled it out under the corpse, the bear moaned as the ghoul devoured it. Higure jumped out ending its undead life and that of the crippled bear. Higure quickly rushed back to his village, only to find it destroyed by undead. Higure slipped in his house passing the undead wandering outside and pulled out his black sneaking gear and took his fathers emblem. He was about to leave his house till he heard his father shouting. Higure stared out the window watching his father fending off a giant cursed knightlike creature, his father was putting up a good fight but his arrows did not hurt the knight, the knight slew his father. Higure went outside to avenge his father. The knight grumbled: "I see the ghouls havent devoured you yet, but then again you dont have any flesh on you to eat, how can you even raise that sword to me...." Higure didnt pay attention to his words his blade alread sank deep in the knights chest. "But you are but a man" the knight moaned "I am no man, I am ninja" Higure replied and cleaved the creatures head of. After his grief and burieng his father Higure whent to ascalon to seek his meaning in life.

Personality: Krat, as many call him, is still unstusting of humans after they slew his 'mother'. However, he is quite loyal and after befriending a group, he will stay with them until they are all dead or their task is finished.

Apearance, he is still decked out in pre-armor, as I just started this Char, today, but i am hoping for the 15k Air armor. He has blue hair, and wears it short. His eyes will pierce you out of the dark, and sometimes you can even see the power erupting from them.

Equipment: He wields an IDS with a storm artifact that was given to him on the day his parents were slaughtered. He also wield a Hale Air Staff of Fortitude.

Bio: Defen was raised by the Tengu in the NKP, he never knew his parents. Till one day a group of adventurers 'rescued' him from his Tengu mother and father. He is still quite moody, as he was living with the bird people when he was going through puberty. He has just begun to take an interest in a young girl in Lions Arch. But he has no idea how to treat girls. He is currently travelling with his friend Zelden, the elementalist in the party that killed his adopted family. His mission is to find out what happened to his birth parents.

Personality: Zelden can change from very perky and annoying, to Depressed and quiet, or to angry and furious in a second. When he’s happy, he won’t shut up. When he’s depressed, he says mean things to people. When he’s angry, he takes out his anger on someone or something.
Appearance: Zelden walks around in 15k Hydromancer armor dyed gold (that’s what I really look like) which matches his eyes that are a glistening, pale blue. He keeps an All seeing eye with him at all times. His hair is bushy and light blue with streaks of dark, ocean blue with his bangs combed over to the right. Zelden has tan skin and stands at 5-foot-5.
Equipment: Zelden keeps a wand and artifact for every element. The wands and artifacts are highly powerful but he still dreams of claiming the items of the mighty elementalists, Flint, Rago, Galigord, and Runar.
Bio: Zelden was born to a couple who believed that the path to greatness lied in the hands of the divine spirits. In other words, they wanted Zelden to be a monk. They promoted Zelden to be a monk. This was easy because whenever he got a bruise or cut, his mother or father would heal it. He wanted to be like them but they couldn’t teach Zelden, they had jobs to do. Zelden’s parents sent him to get educated away from home. The transportation was mixed up with another child so instead, Zelden was given the power of the elements. Instead, he wanted to be like the famous elementalists out there like Flint, Rago, Galigord, and Runar. When he returned home, he was nervous of what his parents would think. Zelden’s parents were truly disappointed so they decided to give him away. Zelden was an orphan. His educator came back to his home to pick him up. Zelden’s teacher adopted him and he lived with this woman until he could move out. Over the years, Zelden’s foster mother taught him more about the elements. She taught him every spell, hex, or enchantment she knew, but there was MUCH more to learn. One night, Zelden grabbed a bunch of books that he’s never looked at before and began to read. His mind was hauling all of these things he has never imagined himself learning. When he was old enough, Zelden set out to search for the best of the best, seeking these great elementalists in hopes of learning the most complicated elemental magic ever. The only delay was that the Guild Wars had just begun, so he had a major delay in his plan. He found a great city named Ascalon and met a man named Sir Tydus. This man needed some extra help for the war against the Charr. Zelden offered help. Two years later, the post-searing had arrived. Finally, he could continue his quest.

Name: Kharn Ecthelion

Personality: Kharn grew up on a small farm outside of Ascalon during the pre-searing times. He has an extremely rare mental disorder that causes him to have two very different personalities. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays he is an emo gothic punk who stays up late at night and writes long poems about suicide. However during Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays he becomes extremely outgoing and cheerful.
He has a sarcastic sense of humour and enjoys making extremely awkward moments occur. Despite all this he is very skilled with a bow and participates in the annual Ascalon Archery competition and once even won the gold medal.

Bio: He was brought up by his father who was extremely strict with him but taught him discipline and great survival skills. Later he got sick of his father and went to live by himself in the countryside at age eight. He built his first bow at age nine and took great pleasure in killing helpless wildlife, so much so that he become very skilled with a bow. At age fourteen some animal lovers from Ascalon came to try to persuade him to stop his evil practice. In response he torched a rabbit burrow and invited them over to his house for rabbit stew. He has not heard from animal lovers since.
He became experienced in the art of war during the Searing where he fought to defend Ascalon believing that he would be paid great sums of money by the King. However after the war he was paid diddly-squat and became so enraged he left Ascalon and went to live near Lion's Arch.
Nowadays he catches fish and bakes cookies at his sea-side hut. However every so often he embarks on a dangerous adventure to save people he doesn't know. He does not do this from the goodwill of his heart but because he knows that saving peoples lives is a profitable business.
Lately however, some strangers named Aiden, Mhenlo, Cynn and Devona have given him a bigger adventure than he can chew. Kharn hopes to be paid in lots of Ectos after he helps them save the world. Also he would not mind a date with Devona so long as she doesn't bring her hammer everywhere she goes.

Bio: Born from a widow of a lost cause Kenly a mesmer seeks avenge.
Kenly's father just happened to be killed by monks(an oxymoron eh?) suprising yes, why he first learned of this on his 18th birthday....thats just plain out cold. He used to be told his father was lost and was considered M.I.A or Missing In Action. After hearing that though he casted a simple energy drain on his mother for lying to him he devoted his training towards antimonkinism or Shutdown Mesmer. He doned the name System Crasher from literally crashing the entire back bone of a group by killing their monks and unleashing a wild fury of Illusionary Weaponry with Flurry. Yes he slaughtered them all for he still seeked out Spiritualist Kanish. Though Kanish died many years ago of natural causes he still seeks vengeance against the monks. Now Kenly seeks out his Great x2 Grandson, Spiritualist Dendei. He has actually gandered upon Dendei in the Arena while he muraculously slaughtered hundreds at the time. For he also like his Great Great Grandfather was the rare Smiting monk. But Kenly seems that backfire will take out Dendei...but Kenly has more to expect from the "weakling" monk. He has requested help from his cousin Van QUicksilver A.K.A Shinobi QUicksilver in an attempt to giain an upper hand. But being just as Van was he refused and told Kenly it was his fight. Though he promised if it got to a close to death experience for Kenly he would use Escape and get them both away. Will Kenly gain vengeance or will Dendei show him what monks are made of? Tune in for a later article of System Crashed......DUM DUM DUUUUM

I promise. It's a fantasy novel, not a history text. Congrats on your little victory there Storm. Plz don't flame anyone else. Writting things like this to some people are bold actions to them. Some people are shy and many of them haven't written stories to show thousands of people before. Insulting any of them could make them angry/sad and not want to write in public again, when they may have the potential to be great someday at writting. And so far they're all good, except mine, which s crummy, but hey, that's how I think of my character. That's what I pretend he is. I resent this post. The fact that you say LotR is fake made my head pound. That is EXACTLY the same as saying fantasy is fake, which you play Guild Wars, so it can't be. And people need to learn that just because someone flames them about their (insert writing/poem/bio/pic here) doesn't mean that the entire world hates their work, and to just wipe it off, and go at it again. *Adds another two lines to the list of reasons I hate people.*

(This one's kind of complicated. Elias started out as Spring Heeled Jim, my perma-presear ranger. When the Factions PVP weekend came around, I deleted the PVE version and recreated him as a PVP character, and gave the name Spring Heeled Jim to every PVP character I created that weekend. When it finally came down to creating a PVE ranger, I asked around my guild which name they liked better, and they voted for Elias. So Jim became Elias, but the personality remains the same.)
