When will the BWE start?

On Friday? or Saturday? And what time?

Here it all depends where you live but; 12:01 a.m. PST (08:01 GMT) on Friday, March 18th.

Hi all, I am new to GW, so be gentile with me. I just read here that these last two BWEs are only for those who Preordered the game. I got one of those Event Weekend keys from my gf and I wanted to make sure I can use that to join this weekend. Thanks for the help.

If what you are talking about is a guest pass that you get out of a pre-order package, then yes, those will work. If it's some other type of pass, I don't think so(but don't quote me on that). To clarify, the starting time is approximately 12:01 am on the 18th, with heavy emphasis on the approximately part.

Yeah, its a Guest Pass. I remember she said that. I help her install a new video card in her compy and I get a guest pass. Fair trade I spoze. Then there ore the "other" benifits.

I think the BWE should be every 'weekend' like the name.

But maybe people would like their characters to much, and so it would cause anger when they're wiped.

It isn't called the BEWE (Beta Every Weekend Event), They dont just do it so we can play before everyone else. They use these things so the Beta Players can find bugs/glitches/different little things and also to make suggestions on how to make the game better. They don't do them solely for our entertainment.

Oh, and im not good with the time zones ( .) So could someone help me out with what time its gonna start in the eastern time zone(eastern US, ex. New York, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, etc.). I think I know but......I just have to be sure.

Really? Awesome, maybe I went the wrong way.....hmmm I was thinking pacific and if it goes around to the left (? not sure) would'nt US Eastern be the last? hmm....I dont know, I was always asleep when we were talking about time zones, they bore me lol.

well, it will be approx 3:01 am eastern. there's not guarantee that they will start it off right then though.

I saw number 7 but I dont have a calculator handy....and I sucks with math...then again, I sucks with grammer. I AM good with science though.

Oh, I cant, I was just wondering when it would start here, just out of curiousity. I'll unfortuneatly(sp?) be at school in the morning, and moreover the computers in my parents room so I cant play later then about 10:00 PM at the latest, except on weekends, and it gonna start NOT on weekend.

Days start in Japan and end at California. There are four time zones, and they seperate by an hour for each one, with Eastern being the latest, and Pacific being the earliest. So if it starts at 12:01AM in the pacific, it will be 1:01AM Mountain, 2:01AM Central, and 3:01AM Eastern. That is assuming they start on time, which they might not. I don't know, nor will anyone else really. They'll start when they can, and it'll be roughly close to that I am guessing.

This will be my first BWE also, I took Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off work just for it. Five pre-order passes, a nice basement with couches, a few cases of Bawls, and the whole weekend off with friends. Should be a blast.

my first event as well. But, I mean, who cares if the timing is a little off. I mean, who will be up that early in teh morning. I have school so I won't play till after then. So between 3 and 4 probably PM. So yeah. Them being late won't make that much a difference. hos up at 12, 1, 2, and 3 in the morning on a weekeday?!
