Whats the worst thing that ever happened to you in pvp?

Wow yesterday i created a iway group( they are pretty efficient at getting fame ) we were actually pretty good for none of us being rank 3 and all...
we won a few games and soon enough we were in hoh... we were struggling in the begining a bit,trying to get organized. Yet at the end we were the best team there and were kicking ass. at the last 1 minute or so we elimated both other teams, then we were right about to claim alter when we noticed where was our hero???
we soon found out he fell under the stairway!!!
that glitch cost us hoh... we woulda won too!!!

I died.

My very 1st trip into HoH was a 4-way & we didn't get the pass. Red had 3 SD mesmers & we were a caster heavy dual emo smite. We were also all rank 0 noobs BRAND NEW to playing Tombs. We got owned.

I guess you should've won, seeing as the holding team was either
a) not smart enough to : Spike out/kill your ghostly
b) incapable of a Ghostly that wasn't being healed by a monk

Get a trip to HoH after the unworthies running a test anti-IWAY only build. Get a one on one against an IWAY team... WOOHOO, right?

2 people get err=7'd, and the IWAY'ers glitch the ghostly underground. gg

I was in this group and that really sucked. We took out Apathy Inc., some other group, and one other good guild. We were just standing there saying wtf hero? or soem thing which I cannot repeat here. We later got back to halls and lost to NYOG and hour later though.

When people Res just before they are about to die.. yes it's very stupid. They end up dying half way when using res signet..

I had just joined a new guild that had a lot of members who were apparently active, so I was thinking "finally I will actually get the chance to play some PvP with a guild." We got 8 guildies together and went to HoH... we lost to the unworthies. Twice. We then proceeded to lose about 5 guild battles in a row, even though we were running a full team with TS.

I left the next morning and haven't joined a new guild since.

My pc crashed in HoH after 4 flawless wins in HoH 5th time my pc crashed !!

Been there, done that. Still waiting for a fix. Maybe next update. Ghost doesn't always go under the stairs, he's also quite partial to flying.

i brough my monk in random and ended up in a team of all heal/prot monks.

We then met a team of necros and proceeded to die in less than 12 seconds.

Going against a 3 monk one warrior team in the CA when we had 3 monks and me (on my ranger). Half an hour later one of their monks left and I spiked another one to death..we won at 40 minutes, then got against a 4 mesmer team the next round. No fair!

i was with an earth spike (obs flame) team and everybody kept saying "stay together in the wards and we will kick ass".

i see the enemy has 3 monks and 5 necros.
i scream "run run run". no one listened.

3 secs later suffering + BOOM FoC!!!

ah damnit it happened to me last night when I was holding. We played that one so well, giving up our cap and got everything down for a recap only to have ghosty to run on the stairs, get body blocked, we cleared the blockers, then he ran away

i'm still angry

my first time in courtyard as an amateur tombs trapper with some iways and necros (rankless pug). fought. we eliminated all. then at 0, we all died. lost.

i was disappointed. before, i thought winning that match was to eliminate all and to stand on the altar. i was wrong all along.

thats the worst thing that happened. getting to a map and not knowing how to win it.

I forgot to mention that both teams were pretty much already eliminated at the time

yeah we had killed apathy inc. and we were just standing there we had spammed WTF a lot especialy once we got back to Tombs
