There are two things that surprised me when I started playing this beautifull game. The first: It sure is beautifull. The second: For a MMORPG (sort of) it has a terrible way of communicating with eachother.
Does anyone have a good way of talking to other people and actually finding the characters you're talking with?

No, Guild wars is the neverending pit of anti-socialization. Partly because of the interface and how difficult it is to socialize, and partly because of the battlenet/haxNslashx0rs kiddies.

One thing I hate about mics is that there always seems to be some kiddo who goes berserk on the thing. Resulting in a tirade of strange noises and burps/farts.

It stops being fun when you're shooting up some guys in UT2004 with in the background music of a 12 year old going nuts with his vocal cords........for one whole hour!

Lol, agreed.

My biggest gripe about the CI (communication interface) is that I use my keys to move around. If I accidentally press entere, bam, I can't move because the chat window is open, and all my keystrokes go there.

But I guess theres not much that can be done about that.

I use the mouse to move around, with the right mouse button and all. But even then.....
It's just to hard to find likeminded individuals. You should be able to see who wants to do certain quests. Who's American, Dutch, Frech, etc.
