I've had a glitch there before too.
After the first waves of Summit things into the fort...nothing happened for the longest time, I didnt see any enmies out there or anything.
I went out to explore - and found the problem.
That LAST Summit boss had got stuck on a rock (stupid AI) and wasn't moving, and you gotta beat him to get mursaat to start to come.
What it looks like there is they got stuck on something, and bottlenecked at the door.
THK is riddled with Bad Terrian sensory. Like the Bridge going to Beacon on left side - You can basically fall through it almost lol.

This thunderhead bug has happened to me too, tho it took much longer to complete the mission than in normal way.
The funniest bug I've had was in Thirsty River, this been happening to me now 3 times. In the end when your killing the last priest, suddenly the mission is completed with bonus, so free 2000 xp, without doing bonus or completing mission.

Interesting screenshot, did they still stand if you aggroed them?
I completed this quest with an Echo Spiteful necro + rest henchies. I regretted trying this with 5 different pug teams before this. I just thought it'd be nice having some human players taking care of the catapult, in the end with the echo spiteful, I didn't need to care much about it.
Now if somehow I can get passed the Mursaat front door without the henchies getting pummeled by the ether seals. =/

Couple of days ago I was in Perdition capping elites, and that first group of Flesh Golems and Hydra right outside the gate all sorta bunched up on the right side.
They just walked right into each other's path and started a staring contest. I walked past them just fine. I even died, rezzed back at the gate and they were still standing there. In fact, it looked like another patrol had joined them.

My bug was a dead Troll floating right above my N/Me's head on one of the many solo Iron Mines trips. Didn't get a screenshot, tho
And I henched Thunderhead with the same character, without an Echo Spiteful, and got bonus too!

The spirit of the king is driven off a) if he's aggroed by the wandering mobs, or b) if you take too long to kill all 3 groups. Assuming the patrols miss him, you never even need to come near him to get the bonus.

You do know there's a back way you're supposed to take, right?
