Ultimate Dye Color Combo Guide For Monks

Im bored! Waiting till chapter 2; might as well make somthing that will pass the time, with your help (donations).

I'll be Taking any color dye donations; Red/Blue/Yellow/Green/Orange/Purple/Dye Remover
and Silver/Black(doubt it but maybe you have a request for what combo you want to be shown)

I'v already spent money out of my pockets; buying dyes, armor sets(chest and legs) and 2GB of hard drive space of screen shots.
Here is what I'v got compiled/open/cut-paste/save as/edit/save/save as/uploaded so far.I just found this file hoster, tell me how it is; say's unlimited bandwith and 300mb of media so we should be good

This Guide will enclude Solids then 2 stage combos
I'm working on a formula for stage 3 and stage 4 dye combos.

The Ascetic's dye the same color(no hue difference), so no doing the same thing twice, Armors testing on Monk Rainment's / Ascetic's / Fissure of Woe Armor

sorry for this very very long delay I really can't decide how I should keep this collage...
keep it in small bits fragmented? (heh RRC was 700kb alone, so all in one is no option)
was going to organize it all by color but alot of redunancies(huge increase in size)...

also a side note why dont I do black? its been seen that black darkens the dye combo on whichever combo it is used within (for 2 stage and 3 stage)...I shoulda known... looks to be the same way with silver...

I hate to burst your bubble, but someone already did this. It's posted in the dye chart thread in Community Works.

Well do I have to point out that Tat's Dye differently and FoW'ers Claim that the armor also dye's funky...
He did however do stage 3 color combo's YET only on one type of armor.

Well I just edited in the Ascetic armor type, now I must get the FoW armor set; if anyone wants to help me in this? perhaps you got a guild that already does FoW and I possably could tag along. I'm on the USA home servers.

I'v got the materials and gold to craft it, just need to get there

Dont worry about quality when I add the silvers and black's I got all the orginals in lossless formats

i gave up on dye... now i just go for 1 color dye... i spent like 30k just trying to mix dyes... all a waste... arrr

Still try'n to craft the FoW armor set; the [DO] guild might help me later this evening, cmon no donations, any donation of any color dye is appreciated.

you can have the orange i fount lastnight... im not gonna bother selling it for 10g

Well after so many failed attempts and waiting, it all paid off once a certain someone came to the rescue and got a PUG going and man other groups are dissorganised.

/cheers Now you have 2 stage FoW armors to look at, black isnt not in there yet but man that would eat up my vault so fast, they will showup overtime, In the mean time I'll be pondering on how I want to tackle the 3 stage proccess.

so far there have been 5 donations. 4 ingame and ill try to collect forum donations later today.

i browsed through a dye chart thread in community works. i didn't find a guide for monk fissure color combos. deviance's guide is organized and thorough. i'll definitely donate 10k to the cause. keep up the great work!!!

PS: anyone know if a guide like this exists for mesmer fissure?

im assuming female mesmer fissure, and AFAIK no guide exists, however due to the fact that mesmer FoW doesnt dye "wrong" I think it would be overall less useful (mesmer armor just tends to dye "dull")

Ok the hoster upped the storage to 500mb and still unlimited bandwith perhaps when you tried; they where upgrading the servers and had to shut down for a bit; I made all folders Public so i hope that wasnt an issue...

I do plan on going to more classes but all classes of FoW? heh I think another person needs to help me with that... but I do plan on doing most of the non cloth type like Necro Scars Patterns and Leather(ranger armors Alot of requests for pink)

3 Stage combos I need 42 reds just for the Red+Color... perhaps Ill do 1 color per week and farm for the funds...

I havent totally got the 3stage down yet but I THINK it degrades some where along the line...

Well sorry for the long update but Figured its 63 of each color now...
Once i get 40 more of blue/red/yellow/green and 20sum more silvers ill post the 3stage's for FoW armor.

Much respect for you, I'll definitely donate all the dye's that I have to the cause. It might be possible for you to get more donations if you credit everyone who has donated a significant amount of dyes, people always like to see their names in things like these... I think. I personally don't mind anyway.

I think this is a great idea, I recently made a monk and I have the ascetic's on her, and i have wasted about 10k trying to get a color i want.
