i'm thinking about starting a guild where all members must have a lvl20monk acended and finished 2 mission on the fire island.

how to join?
--meet me in hell's recipe and we take a pug group through mission

what does it do?
--it helps mission/quest groups who require monks

does it cost?
--only for tips

how do u contact these mercenaries
--i'll list all the officers on various forum/fan sites. and when you message any one of them, they'll try to dispatch a monk to your location/district.

does it sound good? lol

Hmmmm yeah could become an actual profitable guild like those running guilds. Maybe charge tips/free at first but when u get good and a good deal of members u should start charging real cash like depending on how hard it is to get monks at dif mish. you could hold a semi monopoly on monk power muahahahhahahaa.

Personally, I don't like the approach. While I appreciate that monks are a vital part of any team, every team member is important and needed. As such, demanding tips for being part of a group is not the winning approach. Regardless of why you join a group, something is in it for you (progress in the game, pleasant gaming, drops, access to chests), so acting like there is a service for the others is wrong. On the same note, why shouldn't warriors charge for tanking, necros for battery-ing, elementarists for nuking? As monks, we have the divine favor, let's not mess it up with greed. Trust me, the gold is coming, play the game, you cannot avoid it.

I think that would be more of a headache than anything else. Think of all the Warriors out there, even at Hell's Precipice, that don't bring a res sig because the monks are supposed to "just heal" them, so you're looking at a lot of argument and negotiation. Of course, if you're doing it for tips you might not be. Just a thought.
