How Do You Play GW?

I re-play missions, re-play quests, explore & skill hunt. All 4 toons have completed game. I don't farm. I don't PvP. Currently involved with unlocking all secondary skills for all professions for my toons. I play with guildies or henchies primarily. Very rarely do I venture out into the world of PUGs.

Whether its PvE or PvP I like planning and executing the plan with success with a team of strangers (because I dont know anyone that plays this game irl). Unfortunatly this is pretty challenging because strangers dont like to communicate often.
Ive had a pretty low chance of success but the times it has followed through were pretty rewarding.
When I PvP I mostly play with my guild where I dont plan anything, I just follow orders.
But I still enjoy being part of a plan that comes together, so thats fun as well too.
Ive beat the game a few times and have never farmed once. There is a group of people that likes to farm and a group that doesnt. And Im convenced that the group that enjoy farming only enjoy it because its ingame rewarding, not because its fun gameplay.
I think completing challenging missions and quest are more satisfying than farming, but there is less to show for it, so I dont get may people agreeing with me.

I just like to advance my characters. This means I farm, because part of the advancement is getting the great weapons and armor, which aren't free, but I don't farm 24/7 to get Fissure armor. I happen to think the Sacred armor in Drok's looks just fine anyway (so far I've been playing a Mo/E). But a lot of my time is spent on technique, capping skills, etc.
And then I try another character.
Here's hoping Ch. 2 brings more professions!

I do almost all of it… mostly I make sure no one in the guild needs any help/wants company with anything, either making a Tombs team, capping skills, or doing a tough mission.
Then, when I have my own time, I will clear up little quests in my log, and intersperse it with some PvP in random arenas.
I would have to say my least favorite thing to do is farm. Farming, to me, is incidental to doing anything else in the game (apart from arena). I’m sure there must be something wrong with me that I don’t want 15k armor that badly and find farming a chore rather than a fun activity.

PvE, PvP and farming.
I don't get PvP action too often so I'm stuck with relying on PvE. I enjoy trying new things out with my necro and generally blowing stuff up with my ele. I also like farming with my monk in UW to get all the skill points on it and ecto for my ele for fissure armour cause it suits the character.
Too bad that particular ele which I was setting up as a proper full blown pyromancer is useless now. 11 insp/domination, 13 fire, 11 energy. Mix and match skills.

I am still playing through the PvE game. I do not play that much (maybe 2-3 hours 3 times a week). I have made it to Thunderhead Keep with my two mains (R/E and Me/Mo). I have my alt (Mo/N) in Dunes of Despair right now capping skills and running Ascension quests.
I can't believe there are people that have finished the entire game. I doubt I'll get all three characters through the whole game (including SF) before Chapter 2 comes out.

I solo as much as possible to reach maximum wealth and spend hundreds of platinum on stuff i don't need, lol.
I also save up stacks of useless junk which i sell when i get bored with them.
I also practice new builds and sometimes try to solo hard areas with just a couple of skills...usually to the detriment of my /deaths count.

I love pvp and pve, and GW fits me perfect cuse in other games i always end around in mid lvl. and to pvp in most mmos you got to like farm forever for the right stuff and be max lvl to get the most fun out of pvp. even tough the pve line in gw is a bit short, you can just get the 15k armor and that kinda stuff. so i kinda play both i gues, moste pvp tough..
PvP all the way man! I went through PvE to unlock skills and get used to how different classes played. But my true motivation to keep playing is rated GvG, and we've been getting better. I love it!
I use PvE to unlock skills because I'd rather do that than crawl through Tombs with FotM's or farm Competition Arenas for faction.
I find PvE gets pretty stale. Well, after the update, I've been finding it more fun. But PvE is too predictable and repetitive keep playing over and over.

I play pvp mostly - GvG is what I like best, but when that is not an option, I play tombs, or team or comp. arena.
I sometimes do some solo farming, or help a guildy with a mission, run them somewhere. Occiasionally, I try one of the hard missions from the september updates.
I also chat quite a bit in the game.
And I like thinking about pvp strategies and posting about it on our guild forum.
