The Rich get Richer

Sorry all but I have to have a rant.

I just plain sucks the way the price of ectos has risen. The rich have hundreds of them, and over the last 2 weeks they have gained about 4 plat per ecto, for doing nothing.

I was trying to save for a fissure chest piece for my monk, but the way the prices of materials have risen, i dont think my saving can keep up with inflation.

They need to have some form of stable price for something like ectos, which act as a form of currency, otherwise the gap will just keep getting bigger and bigger.

i feel your pain. i was trying to save for FoW armor for Mildred. not much chance of THAT happening. i'll have to make do with the helm.

but. when all is said and done. its a game. the money in it means nothing. as long as i can buy Droks armor for any new characters i am happy. The rich get richer. so.......? they where rich to start with. its not like the poor are getting poorer.

and anyway, there is always the /beg emote :P

I feel your pain, someone should be done about it. If you recall when A.net made the stupid mistake of linking the economies of all three countries today it resulted in Ectos dropping to below 300g each for a short while... allowing people to cash in!

Paying 12K for a single bit of material is stupid. Think I'll be sitting with my Ranger Droknar's Forge armor for a long time coming, since there will be most likely new armor in the expansion, I'm saving up for that in the meantime ^_^

Ectoplasm was 13 platinum a few weeks ago, just like today.

Anyway it's the same old story...if you want the best looks, you must pay the best prices.

Or you could attempt to get the materials yourself...
