I got this bow from a shiverpeak chest, which are always max right?

Well its 14-28 dmg

Just dmg, no piercing after it.
Werid huh? is this common?
I'll post a pic up later I guess.

Is this common, or does it not make a difference being just "dmg"

This basically means that when you ID it, it will have a element type dmg mod. (Fire Dmg, Ice Dmg, Lightning Dmg, etc.) It's very common and I'm sure people will tell ya the exact same thing.

Shiverpeak chests aren't guaranteed to be max damage either. They drop what monsters in the Shiverpeaks drop mainly, and they tend to be max, but not always.
