He has a hundred blades and a fiery dragon sword... I'd imagine he was a complete idol to most Warriors in the dawn of time

I love Rurik for one reason, and one reason only... I get to watch him die TWICE! Muahahahahahaha.

He also has healing signet, and "natural regen" like a lot of the boss monsters. You'd be able to tell if he had mending from the enchant icon by his name, but there isn't one.

I don't see reason for this entire "Rurik hatred'. I mean, as long as he is alive, the storyline actually makes some sense. Once he died... well, it seems like plot writer died as well and it all went downhill from there.

I cried when Rurik died.. all those times we ran away from the rest of the group and did naughty things.. *sigh*

I have now killed Rurik 21 times in under a week. It is just so entertaining to see him die

About the idol comment... I DID idolize him on release day. I had no idea what I was doing, and all I wanted was a Dragon Sword... I was even stupid enough to trade a black dye for a 13-19 version a few days after launch ><... I used that sword all the way will ascention when I found a 15>50 Brute

Haha yeh he says the stupitest things sometimes like while doing missions he starts telling pointless stories that noone cares about, and he just keeps talking and talking then says some more stupit things. Anyway thats why the dwarf dude that kills him is my hero its just so fun to see him chop his head off

Didn't Rurik save the people of Ascalon by leading them (most of the way) to Kryta? That's a pretty big deal.

You must be in love with the Guild Wars story. Although...um...there's nothing wrong with that....I guess...

Just warning you. Don't expect to much in terms of storyline, if you haven't already completed the game.
