The NICEST people you've encountered on GW!

Umm.. she was the one being nice, so why was she asking you whether you are a girl or not...?

A lot of people tried to scam me before. Those are the nice folks, providing mins of entertainment as I watch them do stupid stuff and busting them at the end. Oh my sadistic nature.

The nicest people I have met have got to be my guildies, and my guildies from the last 2 guilds I was in. After the first guild fell apart, a bunch of us made a new guild. When the leader and one of the officers left to play WoW( ) I originally joined them, however I didn't like it as much so I ended up coming back. My first day back, one of our old guildies got me into the grate guild I am in now, conveniently tagged [NICE].

My guildies, definitely. They were already friends of mine from elsewhere, and we share resources since none of us are hardcore farmers or very rich. My best friend knows I'm going for Drunkard/Sweet tooth and gives me her candy/booze. She's also given me minis. My other friend's given me armor materials and mission/quest help, or even just directions when I get lost. XD

I've been given 2 stormbows and a set of 15k armor by my bf though, although i have to put up with him in RL too so he doesn't count

Back when I started there was a necro who practically helped me complete prophecies though. Never moaned about me dying a lot either.

My rl friend at wintersday opened trade with me and put in 10 winter presents, I sat there for a good 5minutes trying to figurre out why(maybe he was trading them for something, idk).

Then he said "just accept" "happy wintersday". He surprised me =)

EDIT: Wow this thread is long, funny looking back at old posters you never see anymore.

The guy that came with me to do Eternal Grove in HM, because he existed, and he stuck around through the couple failures that we had.

mm i've met some nice ppl while just playing maybe like they runned me or i runned then etc Just met em and talked and there has become nice friendships and lot of fun while playing. I dont care if someone would have gaved me Some rare stuff or money best thing in gw is Friends and guild and having fun while playing imo.

A while back while Pugging a mission (don't remember which) a couple of the members stopped between battles to trade items (without knowledge of the rest of the group).
Needless to say we were wiped at the next point with the exception of the 2 trading stragglers. We were all a bit upset at them - names were starting to be thrown back and forth a bit when one of the other members stepped in and basically put out the fire.
We were rezzed and continued on and completed the mission. I have since become good friends with this "firefighter" and we play together almost on a daily basis. The understanding and compassionate nature of some people astounds me. I am truly blessed to have met someone that personified what I strive to be in GW.

if some1 gives me money, he isnt particulary nice.

people who get me through a mission but spare my time flaming to change their build are nice people.

I find it funny that everyone's criteria is what people gave them. The people who give away lots of nice items are people who are extremely rich and can buy that kind of thing without thinking twice. Even more annoying however are the people who post THEMSELVES as the nicest people they know, if you give something to someone, or help someone out, it should be out of the kindness of your heart and if the person chooses to post it on a forum like this that's up to them. When people post that they themselves are the nicest people, it looks more like they are seeking attention then genuinely a nice person. I'm not saying that they are not nice people, but that that is how it looks when they post themselves as the nicest people they know.

My guildies are the nicest i ever met in this game =)
They have helped me, been very very patient with me, given me some useful builds, they had given me money/greens/items even that i never ask them for that.

The nicest people I've met are either a) 1 newbie who's openminded. Remoding them into tomorrow's elitists ftw!

b) those that are competent and don't waste my time.

Guildies Def... Getting me my guardian / Vanquisher titles for me! Im a vanquish noob! lol...and no one ever lets a ranger in a 4man area ;p

Anyone on the giveaway thread has given me some good stuff i use em or in turn give them away to people who do not use guru. usually i use em though...
