Me> *bashes head against keyboard, leeroys (aggros) 10 elementals, a few warriors, 5 monks, 3 mesmers, run back to my team, quit

I swear, this is THE MOST RIDICULOUS party I've had, the only person knowing how to play was the necro, who was doing well. I normally don't be a jackass in pubs, but seriously, I thought fissure was supposed to be better than that.

Necro/Mesmer will be the best players on a team with full warriors. Learn to take em instead of an extra warrior.

And also the warriors faults were due to lack of knowledge, you doing your leeroy is just out of spite, which i think is worse

Uh. I hate warior's that attack with spiteful. But then again, I changed to tombs instead of PvE

I hate when only one person brings hex removal down.

I'll attack when I have spiteful on. 3 times, then a healing signet to equal out the damage.

It seems to me that the general quality of parties to be found in TOA or anywhere on the ring of fire island chain has taken some kind of nose dive.

I got so fed up with trying to get a decent group for ring of fire mission as a memser i ended up doing it with henchies. First, it was tough to get a group as a mesmer, and of course, any group who would take me was a jerry's kids group who invariably died on the first pull.

I'd be an idiot if I stood next to someone while it was cast on me. Besides, odds are if I'm attacking something it will be from behind (avoid the defense on a Shadow Warrior's shield) so I'll be the only one it's hitting.

I also bring two hex removers, mend condition to FOW. Because no one else seems to bring them and if they do, don't ever cast it.

1 monk with 2 hex removers can shut down the spiteful easily. It is much more effective than trying heal everyone instead.

I was considering bringing holy veil to the fissure on my monk, but forgot... definitely taking it next time, spiteful hurts..

In which case, Healing Seed/Mark of Protection on your warrior works quite nicely.
