Yeah you'd be surprised at the difference in price between a near-perfect and a perfect.
Example:
Pommel of Fortitude +29 ~ 15k
Pommel of Fortitude +30 ~ 60k
No that +1 health doesn't help much, but there's nowhere else to spend the money. So people who have the money drive up the prices for perfects. And people who don't, whine about high prices when in reality it doesn't really matter.
