newb Q for Expert Salvage Kit!

Hi, Iv'e read thru the forums on expert salvage kits... Im in pre-searing, and have started 4 toons all around level 6, and am wondering if the merchants are selling expert salvage kits or is that for post-searing only? I only see regular salvage kits so this is why I am asking!

Also... I love the mo/me & mo/el, i want to make both for pve & pvp, tho the monk/me will be a dedicated pvp toon. So far solo playing is a blast and I can take on much more than i figured I could with the monk class... very nice indeed

What exactly are the advantages of the Expert salvage kit?

If you ID kit says you have unlocked something from your loot. The expert salvage kit can salvage the unlocked item for you, be it a rune or weapon upgrade. There's about a 30% failure chance thought, so it is not guaranteed that you can get the rune/item out everytime.

Also, your chances of getting rare salvage material such as steel/fur/silk also goes higher when you use expert kit.
