What are your goals for Guildwars?

hrmm... I didn't read through the entire thread, and although seem to recall that it's been around for a bit.

but to answer the question:

To have fun, duh? Seems like a rhetorical question.


The real question is- Does GW satisfy those goals (whatever they are).
Seems to me the burden is not what your goals are... but did game meet your goals. We all paid the money for it afterall.

Did it? For me, not as much as I'd like....close though

My Goals:

1) actually complete PvE
Char 1) El/mes at Thunderhead Keep
Char 2) R/Mo sitting at crystal desert yet to complete any missions
Char 3) N/Mes somewhere around ascalon (post sear) most likely will get
deleted and remade into something else, once again.
Char 4) PvP only char, the reason I haven't completed PvE yet

2) Get 15k armor for at least one character, just to say I did it
3) Win in the HoH at least once (difficult to do when your guild decides its a
pve guild and not really interested in pvp, after you donate half the money
for the now fairly useless guild hall (seriously, I'm not bitter at all), and are
stuck with pugs or ditching your guild)
4) get at least rank 3, even if I never win HoH (again, tough to do with
non-IWAY pugs)
5) continue to have fun

1. Buy all four 15k armors.
2. Get Fissure.
3. Found out what happend to Gwen.
4. Pick up Goldy weapons in SF and GF

1) get leg/arm fissure pieces, because i dont really like the ele's shirt-thing
2) clear our both fow and uw; nothing can be alive once i leave
3) much related to #2, find out where gwen is hiding and find a damn use for her tapestry shred, tattered cape, and flute (yes i carry these with me)
4) rank 3
5) 750k

Finish the game with my Mesmer and Ranger.
Not likely to do with my ranger, I got to Thirsty River and now I'm bored, so I'm working on my Mesmer. Currently at Fort Ranik quest :P

now i want all 15k armors

after will go for fissure .. lol , that will keep me busy until next chapter for sure

- unlock every skill
- get 15k sets for my chars

um...

1. Complete all missions/bonus
2. get Fissure for my Ele/Mo
3. there isn't really a third but oh well I'm still new...

To unlock every skill for every class (including elites) on my 3 main characters.
I only need 3 more necro elites for my monk which will mean i have EVERY skill on my monk for every class....not bad eh?

1. Save Money (751k/1000k)
2. Save Crafting Materials (normal and rare)
3. Try not to be driven insane by the constant spamming of young players
4. Farm a bit every other day or so until Nov. 21 - then buy and play TES IV: Oblivion religiously...then switch between TES and Chapter 2 whern it's released.

1. Get rich with my post update Mo/W build.
2. Get 15k armor for all 4 characters.
3. Get my Ranger a spider.
4. Get all of my armor dyed my kickass dark grey blend.
5. Get FoW scars for my monk.

1: Get a proper Tall Shield
2: Get a Rune of Superior Vigor
3: Complete the game (haven't done that yet)
4: Get a max damage gold long sword with badass mods
5: Get all of the above and then do all the quest I skipped on purpose.

Note: Isn't it tatoos on a monk and scars on a necromancer?

Ha, but of course. I've got my Ele at Abbadon's mouth, my Ranger in D'Alessio Seacoast, my Warrior in Yak's Bend, and my Necro in Surmia.

But more than that, to unlock EVERY skill, rune, and weapon mod. Nothing less will ever satisfy me.

And also, have a bit of fun while I'm at it.

1. Max gold
2. Get N/W Ascended
3. Finishing building second computer (to farm and lvl with my wife)
4. Be considered a good GVG'er (by my guild)
5. Finish unlocking all items/skills/runs (Ranger, Mesmer, Monk, Elementalist fully unlocked)
6. to have 3000 of every supply (currently have 3000 of all commons and 3000 of steel, furs, parchment)
7. to have 100 of each dye (currently at 50 of all colors except black at 27 black) (and to find them, ive never bought a dye)

1. Fissure armor for my female necro
2. Get a Superior Vigor drop
3. Increase my guild
4. At least 1 weapon that I *really* like for each character. (necro has hers, 3 more to go)

btw completely off-topic is there annybody who doesnt have a pvp character

*because i hate PvP ^^ i yust whanna know*

i dont have a pvp specific char

w00t go brother/sister im gonna get pve orientated but i dunno whats my last character gonna be i think a Mo/W for farming
