You know, I was thinking. As long as they are going to change the game so drastically, almost every week. Shouldn't they also retitle it every week??. I mean, are we playing Guild Wars, or Guild Wars 2, or Guild Wars 23, or Guild Wars "Guess what this spell does now" version??
As a kid, when I played games, I was never foolish enough to play with someone who kept changing the rules. Isn't that exactly what is happening here?
Why even have a rulebook?? The book that came with the game is useless now.
Perhaps they should retitle it, "Guild Guess".
This is getting a little ridiculous. When I was a kid, I was smart enough not to fall for bullshitters who changed the rules as they went along. These are not updates. The are major rules, skill, and game changes. The game is always changing. The laws of physics even change in this game. Not once a year, but once every two weeks. Its kinda nuts.
Weekly Rules change, OOPS. I mean update!

Or for those who feel that PvE players are somehow "underpowered" (because types of gameplay can be underpowered, just like skills and classes), we can just remove "Guild" from the title entirely, because the game was obviously designed for PvE players who are too frightened to venture into the world of competitive, skill-based arenas usually referred to as "PvP".
Monster Wars? The Chronicles of Charr Slaying? I like both names! Let's contribute with some more!

Why fix a problem when you can temporarily avoid it by getting rid of the person complaining? This way, we only have to ban six thousand new players every day, rather than just making an update every 2 weeks that appeals to everyone. Hey, if you don't like a game, you should be punished for paying money for it, mister!
Good point!

he's complainin about the game changing, when a lot of ppl are happy about it (including me) , it's no point whinin about it like a pussy :S maybe it just isn't the game for him
if he had a reasonable argument and didn't act like aNet owes him or somethin i might've given him a break. i just had f-ucktards that are baggin out a game which IMO is easily worth the money, and they're expectin anet to change everythin they want

Another update, another whiner. If you played any persistent online game you'd understand what "subject to change" means.
BTW, it's not necessary to make new threads about this.
This suspiciously seems to be one of those daily "Ho nose, guys! I can't use my abusive net build anymore
" threads.
Because the only people who should honestly be affected by this is someone who absolutely refuses to play PvP (Big mistake, part of the fun of Guild Wars is PvP, taking it as a PvE experience only will make the game seem incomplete) and can't adapt to balance changes. (Big Mistake #2, this is a competitive online game, it's not going to be a static environment)
Guild Wars is not an exclusive PvE game, you will feel balance changes that were made for the sake of PvP. If the game is ruined for you, perhaps you need to rethink what you wanted out of an online PvE/PvP hybrid game.

Hell, I have a Mesmer/Necro and we Mesmers got whacked hard by the latest update. Do you hear me whining? Nope. It's because I recognize that the skills changed were being abused in PvP (which I haven't really gotten into yet because I haven't finished the PvE game).
I am hopeful of the future when they rebalance Mesmers again because sure they overshot a few things this time, but perhaps it's because they have something planned that they didn't put into this week's update, because it's part of a larger scheme (for instance, they are doing alot of rebalancing now, so that when Chapter 2 comes out, things aren't all screwed up by FOTM lamers).
Too many people see the short-term when things get "nerfed" as it were and don't think about long-term play. I for one welcome these changes as it brings more skill to the game and not just the next thoughtless FOTM build.
P.S.- Don't even try and say IWAY is "teh l33t" build. It's weak in so many ways as to be laughable to anyone with a brain.

The game constantly changes because there is many skills in this game and with thousands of people playing, someone out there is going to find a broken skill.
Although it really makes me wonder what the hell those "beta testers" were doing.
