Dear Arena.net
First, I'd like to apologize to the hundreds, if not thousands of other forumers for 'spamming' a new thread, when thousands exist already. Unfortunely for some reason, you don't maintain a forum of your own.
Onwards to the real reason of this letter, which I fear will go unheard if sent to [email protected]'...
We've been through a fair amount of 'nerfing' since the game guild wars was release. I understand that you would like this game to be the paramount of PVP games, however it's PVE element has still drawn me in, in fact, the reason that I have bought this game. I just logged in to play with my guild mates however everyone has not logged in since your last nerfing or were discussing going off and buying world of warcraft and if we could meet in there.
I feel that in your endevor to make certain players happy, you have forgotten the scope of your project: A fun game. Initially all the dev interviews talked about being excited about seeing what players were going to do. Excited that people were going to have fun, however it seems that they have lost sight in the fact that we, the players, are not having as much fun as of late.
You wonder how I've communicated with all the 1,000,000 players around the world? I don't have to. I can bring down the bar of districts and see that droks as of late has only had 6 districts. Six. That ascalon city has no more than 10 or 12. I remember when it used to have 40. No special to get players to play again, nothing like that just that they wanted to be there. They wanted to play the game. Now after several nerfs later, all that remains is a desolate world of PVE and the few who wanted their PVP...
What I'm trying to say is: If all you care about is what's going on in the PVP world, what do you care what I do with my friends and with my time if I never see PVP? Am I to be in the thousands of players who you've made unhappy who won't buy your expansion pack?
Thank you
~Trevor/Wraith
ps, mods it would be nice if you left this up for a while. Thank you.
