Yeh same here! Quite impressive. I was disappointed it didn't have any special treasure or something somewhere within that area. I discovered that exact room last night as well.

Very creepy place when you are alone. Can drive a warrior mad...

...now if only the candles formed a pentagram, then we'd have another controversion video game on our hands...

If you do the quest to find the farmer's prize Moa Bird you will discover the purpose of that room :-)

I just had a look at the full-screen pick and noticed "Quest updated - The Prize Moa Bird" in the corner so you obviously found that cavern by the same means I did :-)
I'm glad the game now contains some underground environments, gives it more variety.

Kind of reminds me of doom 3.

makes me want to examine it closer for a goat head, or chicken feathers
