What is IWAY???

WTF is IWAY??
How does it work? What's good about it? What's bad?
I see ppl using this term all the time lately, but no one cares to explain this in detail.

a warrior/ranger build that utilizes I Will Avenge You once the pets die to make the warriors much more powerfull.

Yea...I will avenge you gives a lot good unremovable benefit...but some hexes don't mind that :P

So IWAY doesn't care about how long the corpse has been a corpse or if you've IWAY'd off of it before?

Nah, I think you need a fresh death to set it off again. It has a 60 second cooldown so should only be used when most of your party dies. (in pve)
In pvp W/R get around this with pets, lots of them while the rest of the team stays safely alive.
In my own opinion this is abuse but I don't pvp or use flavour of the month builds anyway so who cares. If it gets nerfed another loophole will be found.

Pets should not set this skill off, period.

pets are included in iways affect which is what makes it lethal, there are various counters that completely destroy the build but i won't say them here, it's best that people discover them for themselves

Well, they killed off necros getting a free minion out of a pet right? I reckon they'll change this too.

w/r is countered really easily with smiters now and doesn't work as well. But its still a really popular build.

i decided to make an IWAY warrior because thats wat everyone wanted and we where fighting against a smiting/casters build and they pwned us. so i have to agree with vladmoney.

Funny story. I was playing in Team Arenas on my Ranger, and we came across an IWAY team. I didn't know what they were doing at the time, but we killed them none the less. I didn't even think about killing their pets. I usually never bother to kill a pet unless they're actually using pet skills.

IWAY is essentially perfect with pets.

you get 10 secs for each dead ally on the field, so with 5 dead pets you get 50 seconds of +33% atk spd and health regen. you dont need a new corpse to activate it just a dead ally. it has a 45 second recharge so you can keep it up indefinatly.

Which is why you don't kill the pets... -_-

if ur play tombs u know how much smiting there is, the pets just drop dead

I never understand why people would like to see something cool nerfed if there IS AN OBVIOUS counter to it.

Like for example everyone makes a big deal of smiters when Necros own them.
