installing problems

put disk 1 it says connecting to arena.net then the bar stops wont move wut is happening i got this game yesterday tried all day yesterday and all day today wont work anyone know why

Ya I bought the Collector's Edition. I don't want this to be a waste of $90.

any 1 fix this problem i mean like some 1 suggested to change port like 61112 or something but i dont know wut to do

Are you guys are on AOL and have a router do the following things:
1) Download the AOL compatible firmware for your router(2.14.02.15 for BT voyager 2100)
2) then you have to get to your routers configure website pages (use internet explorer to get there) (www.192.168.1.1 for BT voyager)
3) find somewhere where you can "updgrade" your frimware.

Sorry this is not a comprehnsive guide, this really only stands for if you have AOL and a BT router. Search FAQ's on the internet for similar kinds of problems involving your router.

Anyway, I have got mine working, and have a level 1 ranger , just keep searching the internet for guides and things.

Just bought the collectors edition also and cant play. I don't have AOL (comcast) and router firmware (netgear) is up to date. We need a fix. :-(

had the same problem... finally had it working. Now all it does is crash after 5-30 mins, or everytime I try and use a different item or delete or sell.... Hope you guys don't have the same problem. *sighs*

One problem I had when using my new router was to turn off Port Triggering for StarCraft. It then worked like a charm. Right now it is just that my broadband company is troubleshooting and my speed it through the basement! Figures.

im having this same problem, im emailing the guild wars support team cause idk why its not working either

hi i have brought guild wars thought i would try it to so what it was like but i am having trouble installing it it asks if i have admin rights or enough space saying that it cannot install
really frustrating any ideas how to install

Simple, get the administration rights (log in as an administrator) and delete some junk off your hard drive to make enough space.

hmmm clean the disk....are you connected to the net when u install the game?

Well i'm pretty annoyed at my comp tbh.
I put in disk 1. It installs w/e is on Disk 1.
I comes up with "Please input Disk 2".
I insert Disk 2. Then the comp reads disk then i wait forever with nothing happening, so i click Ok. It Comes Up with Not responding. +_+
EVERY TIME! ARRRGH.
Someone plz help. I miss GW. ='[
Oh, Yeah and it wont close. Even if i end the PROCESS in task manager.

All i had to do was put the disk in + as the disk drive closed click Ok. +_+
Now im happy.
