March BWE

I've almost only done pve on the events, so I'm leaning towards pvp on this one.

Looking forward to meeting up with my new guild and getting into some serious PvP for the first time. Also looking forward to the usual stuff like building up my character, exploring more, and doing some more missions.

i debated doing a ranger/monk build, but went ranger warrior. how do you like the monk/ranger combo? i'm thinking of making a ranger/monk build this BWE.

I want to fiddle around with my Mesmer so he isn't as dependant on Illusionary Weaponary, visit Temple of the Ages (I've practically walked right past it so many times), get the other sets of clothing for my wardrobe, and collect lots of red and silver dye. If I want my character to look as sexy as Zelos Wilder, damnit, my character will look as sexy as Zelos Wilder.

Getting my monk to lvl 20 and trying the new PvP content. She's lvl 17 and it should be pretty fast. No more starting over until retail to avoid possible burn out. The Ascalon missions by now, can be done now without any thinking. I'm keeping the Old Ascalon mission experience until release when everything is polished..

If they do add the Guild Storage this event, it will make things a lot easier... since I've decided not to start @ level 1, I can transfer any valuable items that I've picked up and put them on my newly started lvl 20...

Without Guild Storage, I'm going to be sorely dissapointed... maybe I'm just setting myself up, lol.

I've been all over the place in the last two BWEs.. and I mean mentally, not physically. I had this problem of settling down on one character, and so just repeatedly created, deleted, created, etc.. Of course, with my attention span, I only made lvl 20 chars.. I figured that since I would have to do quite a bit of leveling for all my chars after release -- I might as well enjoy the instant creation method now.

But next BWE, I'm definitely settling on a goal.. which is to focus only on my monk and hop right into pvp (and see how badly I get pummeled ). I'm probably going to do quite a bit of farming at first since I'm restarting the monk with a different secondary profession, and after that, skill-searching.. but most importantly, I'm also very much looking forward to meeting and having fun with my new guild.

p.s.. I'm also hoping that storage will be ready next BWE.. but unlike Shrapnel.. I'm praying for account-wide storage! It seems so awful for me to pester my guildmates to transfer items when I'm only transfering one skill ring to another character..

im not starting a lvl 1 char untill the release? whats the point all the hard work to get to 20 will be wiped? well the main thing im really really looking forward to is the new pvp stuff AHHHH I CANT WAIT!! anyone else looking forward to this as much as me?

well maybe not as much as you, but i am now! I kind of knew about pvp, but no real exposure AND since my character wasn't lvl20 i stayed away. however! this time i'll use a premade and try it out. um, don't kick my butt too badly in there tho.

Hahaha, I am just waiting to play the game. I have never played as you probably have been told 20 times already. But yeah, I have learned a good amount of info so I shall do well for a complete newbie.

lol nove your like me last bwe, i learned about GW like jan 10, and started talkinging to my guild a couple days after so i learned alot from them. but thegriff maybe we could go into the tombs tgether lol, im not great either just started this feb bwe

yeah, and hopefully they wont delay this BWE, anyone know if theyre adding pve to? i know that was the focus last time and pvp is the focus this time but do you know if theyll work at pve at all?

I will play PvP with my Mo/E - hopefully I will get to play in one good group...last event I spent some time in the Hall of Heroes as the suckiest player in the group, but it was fun.

I will level W/Mo Ratatass Amundson from 15-20...and get him some new armor. Will also reconfigure his skills completely. Played last missions with level 10 armor. Spent my money to try new skills instead of armor. So he needs some new clothes.

I will also try my new Mo/E through some of the missions in PvE...Died in the Wilds...


So you can make level 20 charachters that are not premade ??? Are you serious ? I missed out on that in all the events. That would be cool..hope it is so...then I'll make a new char for PvP.

What I meant is, can you start a level 20 char that is dumped into Lions Arch , with no skills, but with the experience ? Maybe I misunderstood earlier ? I f that is the case...hey all i need to do is some farming and I am UP TO SPEED. I never saw that option though...earlier you could make a level 15 and you would get dropped of in Lions Arch...is it like that ? Man I think I am confused.

lucky, i never even got to the hall of heros! well you can allways bring me along and you wont be the worst and why are you building up a char with such a short time till release?? and lvl 20 non-premades wont be avalible in the release, figured that out this week :/

I plan on trying to perfect a build as well. Hopefully my R/Me will tweak in the direction I would like to go. (Loviator?... I made copious notes )
When the release comes, my character may be a null again, but I will have his template.
