Music Changed (Yaks's - Shiverpeaks)

Hello. I've been playing Guild Wars for about 5-6 months now. The first time I ever visited Yak's bend there was this really cool music that played. In fact, it played in all of the northen Shiverpeaks. However, as of late, that music seems to have been replaced with the music from the Crystal Desert.

I was wondering if this is a permenant game change? Did my system encounter a bug when I patched sometime?

Also to clarify, im not talking about the music in the new areas of the game.

Sorry for a second bump...this post is important to me....

I havent been able to find info about this anywhere. I have turned to this forum as my last resort. I know someone out there atleast *knows* what im talking about.

If someone actually provides me with accurate info, I'd be more than happy to offer a substantial reward.

I just logged on as my W/Mo and visited both Yak's Bend and augury Rock.. and got 2 different music tunes. The music at Yaks Bend was what it had always been.

I'd suggest submitting a bug report about it, because if your getting the crystal Desert music in Yak's Bend that's a bug. Go here:

and submit a question - ie bug report - and make sure to select "Bug Report" from the relevant drop down and explain your music situation clearly.

Oh wow thanks, and the weird thing is, its my account not my computer...

I've even installed on a different computer.

Had they downloaded any of the directsong music packs ?

No I haven't downloaded anytype of add-on/pack. I don't use anything third party etc.

I submitted this as a bug and they just said my game is working properly.

I think i'm going to create a new account and see if I get the different music then.

Not quite what was asked. You said it was your account but someone elses computer. It's entirely possible that they gave directsong the $6 to get the upgraded music pack. This changes around some of the music in the game.

Oh I see. I didnt know there was such a thing.

When the music pack came out is probably when this all changed for me (it was like 4 months ago or something).
