havnt played in months...

i decided to start playing again and a lot has changed (and a lot i still havent noticed) i was wondering if anyone could sum these changes up for me. like i went into a aren and got some point things that i never heard of. also has there been much change to the classes (playing a R/N right now) cause i have been playing WoW a lot and they change stuff all the time

goto http://www.guildwars.com/news/gameupdates.html and look at the game updates page. it will list out most of the changes made. also look back until the date you stopped playing GW, there have been numerous gameplay changes in the few months.

im still wondering about more balance things that cant be said in the notes like overall strength of a class. like when i was playing there were Wa/Mo EVERYWHERE and almost no rangers. stuff like that that comes from gameplay

What have they done... since everyone seems to be so hostile on these forms trying to be the first to say "Use search" rather than showing a little help for the person; here goes.

Lots of skills have been nerfed, taking out several builds that would solo the UW, piss people off in PvP (natures renewal), just for a small example. Some skills have had mana costs lowered, times altered... just check the updates for a full reference on that info.
Still lots of W/Mo's everywhere, as this still seems to be one of the easier classes for someone to play.

Just as it always was.
FoW armors are still a pain to get, as ecto/shards are still costing you your whole stash a piece. No new armor updates to my knowledge.
Weapons have pretty much stayed the same up to the recent update. Newer "green items" that drop from bosses in the new areas that are going to turn the economy to shard/ecto sales and nothing else. Lots of gold items are now being overshadowed by these relatively easy items to get.
Also with the new update these chests allow you to get a "better" item by using a key to open it, yadda yadda... blah blah. Just a goldsink.

What else have I missed...

US still retains favor most of the time, as Korea and Europe still fight for control. UW and FoW aren't really that fun anymore, as they have been nerfed to hell because of solo builds and bots farming.

Still lots of bots farming and turning whatever economy is left to hell.

Anet still trying to manipulate their powers in order to "balance" the game, but only end up in catch 22 situations when they try to please the larger of the playerbases, while pissing off the other part.

PuG's still suck.

Henchies still suck. (kind of)

Monks still in high demand, as most of them turned into a 55/105 solo bot that ran through the UW with little effort and clearing it like it was a Qvic/Anguish guild in Crushbone.

What else...

Oh ya, people are still asshats.

That about sums most of it up.
