My vow on selling/buying green items

I hereby vow to NEVER offer more then 2k on any green item sold. EVER

for that matter, if i get green items that i/my guild mates/ or my imediate close friends dont use. i will probably just give them away in ascelon!

i hope you will all do the same, i have already seen sell threads started that have opening bids of 500k or more! and i think that is just sad!

I think 2k is a bit low for such rare items, but I agree with you that they should be sold very cheaply, but as rarer items are going to become more commonly accessible the prices should go down...in theory.

As soon as people put out lists of what bosses drop which items and people start realizing that the drops are fixed, I think the ridiculousness will stop.

can someone give me an example of the stats from a green item?

They aren't that rare; I attempted to get into Sorrow's twice and seen them drop two times.

2k is still too low. they are rare enough for more.

Price should have nothing to do with rarity, and everything to do with demand for the item. Just because it's green doesn't automatically make it worth 2K or more.

And if demand can be met by simply going out and killing the boss that has the item, then even 2K will eventually be seen as overpriced.

I'll join your 2k crusade. I may offer spurious green items for sale in different districts for 2k and spam it to hell so the 2k price really gets into people's subconciousness.

I'd be really surprised if these were selling for more than 5k within a couple of weeks. They're just too common and easy to get. You can't get 10k for the vast majority of rares out there. These are going to be more akin to collector items than gold rares.

just to ask, since they have perfect mods are you able to salvage the mods off of the weapon or is it a can't salvage item?

too easy to get? i killed more than 90 bosses today AND NONE A SINGLE ONE DROPPED

For a comparison, look at the max armor Crimson Carapice Shield that's +45 health/-2 damage in stance. It's perfect, and it normally sells for around 1.5K. Hard to get for beginners, but easy as heck to get for the more experienced.

That's what these green weapons will become. Unfortunately, unless there's a niche that isn't covered by them, it will bring the associated purple and gold items with the same or lesser stats down as well.

yes it's very simple, 90 bosses are like 10-15 run considering the 3 out the entrance and the 6-10 in

I wouldn't be suprised if these items are hit with a nerf in the future.

I sold one for 10k, I think that's totally reasonable.

even if you have henches with you they still count for drops. if an item was to be dropped and its assigned to a hench it never accually drops. so you are reducing your chances by an 8th to get the item.

try reducing the amount of henches you take with you. lots of enchant removal so i don't know if the invisimonk would work or not with 1-2 henches
