New to GW's

I just started playing GW's just a week before the SF update and had a few questions, mainly about items.

1. What color items are there, Ive only seen purple. Are there any purple armor sets that can be crafted?

2. Are there any armor sets or items in the game like in Diablo 2 or WoW?

3. Is there any unique named items in the game at all? Will they be adding stuff like this?

Im sure some people dont want to see the looting be the same as in games like Diablo2 or WoW...but those games did have a fun treasure finding aspect that I think Guild Wars is lacking a little. Though I like the fact that armor can only be bought and not dropped...theres was still a nice aspect of having armor that could only be obtained throgh drops. Anyways is Guild Wars heading in this direction or do most people want ti to stay the same as far as loot items go?

There are blue, purple, gold and now after the update, green colour for drops.

Armor unlike Diablo, there is no parts to collect to get a whole set. Instead you can craft sets from a armor craftor, or mix the sets as you see fit. Each piece has its own look and atributes, also stronger armor can be gotten later on in the game. Armor crafting requires money and materials.

there are lots of interestingly named bosses... some named by guild players actually. thats all I know there.

as for looting, Diablo was in a class of its own and has no comparison to GW that I can see. Some enemies will drop their armor which can be salvaged into usable materials and runes...
