In about 3 weeks, greens will be as useless as most everything else is right now. That was the trend anyway, but its kind of sad that things that were truly unique like my perfect 16/45/-2 enchanted tall shield may become more common, even if green instead of gold. I think the patch kind of "dumbed down" Guild Wars a touch: get all your regular skills in Ember Camp so you don't even have to think or try to get to remote locations; get flawless items in PvE even without playing the market or learning the subtleties of the game, etc. In some ways, it gives new missions and short term content, but seriously undermines the long term incentives of the game, and while a commendable effort, will probably be a step in the wrong direction in the end for a long term player base. Without a great market and some truly challenging long term goals (unlocking everything, which became too easy to do on a single character last night), the only reason to keep playing is for the new content, which will only be new for a couple of weeks at most, and fresh content won't come that fast. Here is what would have been cool: For 25 rubies and 25 sapphires, a smith deep in sorrow's furnace would have turned one of your perfect gold items into a green item named after you! What would people have paid to buy Lady Blue Steel's Longsword or Tall Shield or Nef's Chaos Axe or Storm Bow? That would have been cool, provided a money sink, and improved the economy . . . |

I'd keep your Green item for a little while. I think it would suck if green items would drop that often. I have killed about 20 bosses in Footprint now and didn't get a single good item from them.
Oh by the way, you showed it to my little brother about 15 minutes ago in War Camp
So I saw it already :P

I bought one for 15k. Then one dropped for me in-game. So, I have 2 of them now. I heard that someone paid 100k for one. (Not worth THAT much to me!) And yes, it is dropped by Wroth Yakslapper, every aspiring prot monk's new best friend. He's also really nice to smiting elmos with his wand/icon combo.

most green items seem to be trading in the 10k range. I saw other "Yakslappers" for this, but I do know that monk green items seem to be more rare than warrior or ranger items due to the number of bosses in GF/SF area. 15k might be more accurate. But they might be common in a few days anyway! lol

Did Wroth Yakslapper drop it? If so, I'm killing that mofo 1000x until he gives it to me as well. Honestly, instead of the free hat maybe "The Yakslapper" would've been acceptable hahaah. |

If you want a Yakslapper, I've got an extra sitting around. Wow... Yakslapper... that is creative genius.
