A lot of people seem to believe things that aren't true. Here is a list to correct people's misconceptions:
- There IS a path from the Iron Mines of Moladune south to Marhan's Grotto.
- You CAN beat everything with henchmen.
- You don't NEED bajillions of gold pieces. (although wanting bajillions is fine!)
- The level of a character does not represent the experience of the player.
- Not all warriors are tanks.
- Not all monks are healers.
- Noob is not an effective insult.
- Charging people 50 gold to run them to the Ruins of Surmia is not a good way of making money. (nor are similar acts)
- Guild Wars is not an MMORPG.
- Trust no one unless you know where they live. (an thus can exact revenge!)
- That half-naked dancing elementalist is not really female.
- Rangers, Necromancers, and Mesmers are not just myths. Invite them into your parties.
- It isn't always wise to go after every red dot you see.
- One day of luck/unluck does not mean there was some kind of secret patch that nerfed/buffed something.
- If you fail a mission/quest while using henchmen, it is always your fault. (the only exception being connection issues)
- The name is Little ThoM. Notice the m.
- Missions are not quests and quests are not missions. Do not interchange these words.

- No, you don't need an extra monk, you need to be careful and organized
- Firefocussing and patience are the only thing you need to complete PvE
- The mursaat monk boss is easy to kill, just start using your brain
- Being polite and nice is not a sign of weakness
- You can bring and use a resurrection signet/spell, yes -you- can
- Bring rebirth over restore life in PvE... always

What is SMS? I am assuming that this is talking in all lower case and using letters or numbers in place of extremely small words for no appearent reason? (IE U < You)
I don't think anyone who wants to learn to type faster would ever do this. It's like a person who throws in a word from their original language becuase they can't think of or pronounce the English one.
All it does is just make the problem even worse.
The point of typing isn't to get your words out fast, it's to communicate with other people, either directly or indirectly. Communication requires coherence and understanding ^^

Great post!
- There IS a path from the Iron Mines of Moladune south to Marhan's Grotto.
Yes, I did that, before getting to Thunderkeep, and before getting infused armor (before knowing what infused armor was). Did it with a Mesmer + henchies without running (ok, I ran around the last group outside the Grotto). Did it dying/resurrecting at a rate of one death per kill. I was determined.
Got some more:
- you can get from A to B without running.
- you can play this game with only the weapons you find in your own drops
- you can have a lot of fun if you follow the above because then the game is challenging
- you can talk to your party members before and during a quest/mission to agree on strategy
- you can have fun during a quest/mission even when someone in the party makes a dumb mistake
- you can definitely benefit from having a Me or N or R in the party
- you can do quests/missions successfully without warriors in the party
Regarding elementalists not being nukers, I switched mine from fire to air just to try it, and find I am enjoying it a lot more. Rather than nuking I am enjoying a more supportive role while blinding, weakening and knocking down foes.

LOL, don't forget the opposite...just because a lot of guys play female characters, don't assume that I'm a guy. And also, don't fawn over me just because I'm a female gamer...there's tons of us out there. |
(noticed you're five days behind my birthday, CAPRICORNS FOR LIFE)

- Ice caves of Sorrow, Hell's Precipe and Thunderhead Keep aren't hard missions - you are just playing them with stupid pugs, and even pugs can pass them with ease using the right combo ^^
