Why is everyone trying to get to LA?

whats so special about that place? is it where the best loots/missions are?

Not even close to the best, it's still level 10 stuff, but there's a skill trainer with some decent skills, and a new armor type.

It's because, well, We Love LA. It's because of the song.

It used to be that that was where all the nifty merchants were, the dye trader and crafting materials trader and exotic skill charms trader and so on. Of course, now most of these are in Ascalon City as well, and those that aren't just don't exist anymore. It still is the place you need to get to in order to talk to the guild hall showman, but otherwise it's not so unique as it once was. Now it's just riding its reputation as the place to be. Consider it the tourist capital of Tyria.

LA's rock/classical concerts at the fountain are the best.
