I have a stupid question.
I see many members that have pics in their sigs. How do you do that?

go to user cp (control panel) then click edit signature

No, Lovitar, he's talking about sigs or signatures, the part at the bottom of every post. To change one of those you go to, oddly enough, "Edit Signature" and to add an image (less than 120pixels high by 450 pixels wide, please, smaller if you also include text.) you use the same tags that would let you add a picture to your post. That's the image tag of {img}somepicturesurl.somepicformat{/url} with [ in place of {

My mistake, Mslynx. I was playing the percentages on that one, as I'm of the belief that the males here far outnumber the females...

But yes, your image needs to be hosted somewhere else for it to be in your signature. There are several free image hosting options available though. I'm sure others can provide you with more but the one I know of is Imageshack. Just upload your sig pic there and link to that url in your signature with [img[ and you'll have a graphical signature. There's a limit to the file size but anything that would fit in your sig should be well under it.

well seeing as you have a signature (though not a pic) i'm guessing you can get to the window (i'm a genious!). so your question is how do you put pictures correct? well... First, go to http://imageshack.us and click browse. Fine a picture from your computer (hardrive, floppy disk... blah blah) and then click "host it" it will take a second load (it will take 10 minutes if you try anything other than jpg pics) and then it will give you a bunch of random crap in a box. this is what they give you "[ URL=http://imageshack.us][ IMG]http://randomfakeurlforahostedpicturethatijustmadeup.com/[ /IMG][ /URL]" all you want is the part that says "[ IMG]http://thathugefakepicturenamethatimadeupabovethatididn't feellikecopying[ /IMG]" (without any spaces... i did that so it wouldn't think i was trying to put a picture). Then you paste that into your signature box and erase the extra crap that isn't in [ IMG][/IMG] tabs.

if you want to make it so that when you click your image, it takes you to a website, write this in your sig box:

[ URL=http://whateverwebsiteyouwantittogoto.com/][ IMG]http://imgyourpicture'sURL.com/[ /IMG][ /URL] (again: no spaces)

You can do multiples too, if you want. For example, my sig is three separate images, with three different URL links.

Goto your User CP
Then go to options menu
click on signature
enter in these tags with your url in the middle no spaces!

[img] no spaces put your url here for the pic with no spaces [/img]

and taday your done.
