iron mines of molandune bugged ?

well, I just tried the mission with a random group. I rushed to the seer, and as we were on our way to the idolon a few azures appeared. All ran around like chicken and we finally died. So I decided to make this mission with henchmen. I came to the seer, killed the idolon, got my armor infused - so far so good. Then I went to kill Markis. But...he wasn´t there ?! Just two of the four Mursaat came out of their "prisons". The other two didn´t appear - and nowhere a sign from Markis. I made this mission a few times with other chars, and never had a problem. Anyone else had this problem before ? I´m a little pissed that I have to do this annoying mission again :/

Yes, it's a known issue, I have experienced it as well as others. Just have to keep doing the mission until he's there, or until they get this bug fixed.

No, he isn't. I had this bug happen to me, and our group cleared out EVERYTHING. But Markis was nowhere to be found

It could be worse... you could get to the end of Thunderhead Keep and then have it glitch somehow so the mission doesn't end.

When you start the mission run by the stupid summit/mantle and go to the bridge over the ice, if it has worked you should see him running by. Thats how I overcame the bug

Ok now that I'm thinking about it... why do the Mursaat defend Markis so fiercely? He's done his job... betrayed the Shining Blade and scattered them into the mountains. His usefulness is over. Why waste time and resources protecting him when they should be trying to track down Evenia again, or reinforcing the Ring of Fire? Seems like poor planning to me. Sorry... random thought.

anyone know how Vaatlaw Doomtooth and Markis both have Barrage?

I think the RoF was defended well enough to assume it was secure, they were probably being overly confident at that point. As to defending Markis, I think it has something to do with keeping the loyalty of their followers, they won't be gods if the mantle hate them for abbandoning one of their top guys :P

When i had the same bug, he was further down the road stuck on a tree.

Unfortunatly if he never makes it to the circle fort thing, some of the jades don't trigger... so as funny as him being stuck in a tree is... rofl... he needs to make it most of the time.
