Minotaur Horns?

Whats the deal with these? Seems like there are a ton of people who are buying all you have for 50g each..... but nobody knows why. Anyone here know why?

Probably just buying them up so they can get a bunch of collector weapons and sell them to noobs in Ascalon or to people who don't want to hunt down the items themselves.

There is a thread in gwonline about this. One can get a nice profit by exchanging it for collector armor and expert salvage the armor to get rare materials.

Oh...I always just assumed they tried selling them off for more money. I recently sold a large quantity of them myself too.

I was told that ppl are trading them for mesmer gloves and expert salvaging those for linen which is worth quite a bit compared to other rare materials.

5 minatour horns can be traded in the desert for arm armor (depends on which profession you are as to the type ie guantlets for a warrior) Now everyone knows you can't sell armor so I would suspect they are salvaging them and trading what is given as material. So far I have made quite a few runs into the desert but am finding it difficult to get just 5 so I can upgrade my own armor.

Ah, so that's the reason why the linen price dropped into bottomless depths...

Dang why do people have to open their BIGGGGGG MOUTHSSSS! (buncha Jackie Gleasons) lol Can't keep it to yourself have to blab it, then everyone and his mothers brother jumps on the band wagon and there you have it, reduced prices on what was a great income for a "few" people. heh.

I've just about stop telling anyone anything, no one can keep a secret and everyone is a braggart. lol And yall just keep soloing them GRIFFONS and TROLLS and I'll stick to my nice little solo area no one has mentioned yet at least it's MINE ALL MINE for the moment. lol

There isn't one area in the game that only one person knows about for soloing. Sooner or later it will be known then you can whine some more.
