The Most Useless Focus Item?

yesterday in Lions Arch I was walking around and found a collecter that was offering a focus item for necromancers. It specialized in our Primary skill Soul Reaping. Now for EVERY other class they have skills associated with their primary skill, not necro's. With this in mind, the bonuses for this item were Faster skill casting for skills using soul reaping, and faster recharge time for skills using Soul Reaping. Just a lonely thought.

and yes it it the most useless item i have ever seen. my necro still used it until she was deleted. why?

You know shadow, I saw another one of these in the S. Shiverpeaks somewhere... maybe outside Port Sledge or in Drok's.

The only thing I could think of, was that there may be some new skills on the horizon, and some are necro, soul-reaping based. Anyway, you're not the only one who's scrathing their head over this.

I have a feeling that Soul Reaping is going to get some spells before too long.

There is a SR collector focii in the Crystal Desert as well.

I've had items that branch into 3 different classes. Now thats just plain useless haha.

I've seen a mesmer one for fast casting. What makes it funny is that it the only skill associated with fast casting is a stance (which has no casting time). The item improves casting times of fast casting skills.

Ya know I would like to hope that such things are coming, but ATM I think that it is actually just lose ends that havent been important enough to fix.

The most useless I've found (as a drop) is a dinky chalice in old ascalon. It was an energy +6 unid'd. When I id'd it, it was +4 armor, -5 energy.
