Guild hopping is the act of leaving a guild to join another guild to get around the 100 person limit. For example, 1000 people from www.internet.com make 10 guilds. They notice that even though they have 1000 people they can't rush PVP over and over to get faction and rank. They decide to create an 11th guild called "Bubby", this guild is just for doing ranked PVP. When people want to do ranked PVP they send a message to an officer in "Bubby" to tell them when a space opens up, when they are told a space is open they leave their current guild and then recieve an invite to the "Bubby" guild and then can continue playing some ranked PVP for this guild. Because of this the "Bubby" guild is able to do ranked PVP 24/7, as every time a person logs off there are plenty of other people in the other guilds to take their place.
Do you think this is fair? This is currently a perfectly fine way of using a large guild to rush ranked PVP. Am I mistaken in thinking the 100 player limit was created to stop ranked guild PVP rushing in this manner? If I am what is it's purpose?
