Prediction: Sorrow's Furnace

Some of you probably have already thought of this, but I think it will be released tomorrow. In line with the PvP event. Since ANet wants to seem like they don't have a favorite between PvE and PvP, it would make the most sense to hold both events at the same time. Not to mention the lag many of us have been experiencing lately. Something is definitely being streamed to us. The only thing large enough to have such an effect, is Sorrow's Furnace. I hope I'm right

I disagree. All indications seem to be that the Summer Update itself is a few weeks off at least. Comments made by The Frog seem to support this.

The increased faction rewards are designed to get more people to play PvP and therefore give ANet more immediate feedback and game data to track the effects of their skill changes. I'd imagine they are going to analyze that data, decide if any further changes are needed, and add those changes to the Summer Update which will probably go live in a couple weeks.

if it is brought out this month id say it would be on the last day.. but i don't think its even going to come out this month so im not sure about this... sorry to be a bring down...

I agree with Aracos, the faction is probably just to entice people to get into PvP in a flood, then they can figure out what more they need to tweek.

Anyone know what they plan on tweeking to begin with?

Well unless there are more changes to enchant removal besides what ANet already released to IGN... I'd think they would have to make some more adjustments in that area. With NR spamming dead, mass enchant and heal ballers will probably rule the roost in the Tombs/HoH. HOPEFULLY they already know this and something is already in the works, just unannouced as yet.

I think while PvP enjoys all the extra faction points and such... we PvErs should get triple the exp from our kills to...

and I doubt the update will come at the same time. But hopefully soon

From what The Frog said, I'm hopeful it will come out next week....... I'm not holding my breath though.

the "event" was the announcement of PvPX

why did they call it the summer update.... summer is pretty much over to me.....

They spent all summer updating the code .. before releasing it
