Need a Trapper build

Hey could someone give me a good trapper build for UW and just all around PvE I have been trying to find one and come up with one but i have never made one so i need some help.

standard trap build for 4-5 rangers in uw:

4 traps (flame, spike, barbed, dust)
troll unguent

those 5 are a must if you just plan on basic trapping, some 3 man ranger groups ask you to bring spirits etc, just take out flame trap it does the least.

your other 3 skills are up to you, usually you want a res sig which gives you 2 skills to mess around with. back when i did this i would bring serpenst quickness and throw dirt, but its really up to you.

oh and especially in uw people like to use QZ and EW, so you may be asked to bring one of them.

in general pve i dont recomend trapping, there are better things you can do as a ranger

This looks the place to ask.

Just been in UW with a mainly trapper team and 3 of the team said the elite Spike cancels out the others...is this true? I never heard this before....

[edit] Not true...don't let anyone tell you not to bring ALL your traps for UW ;-)

I like the build that uses oath shot to refresh all your skills. Run in with Dryder's Defense and lay tons of traps then use oath shot to reactivate all your traps and let them fly again. With a short bow you'll almost never miss with oath shot (unless your marksmanship sucks). Don't forget throw dirt and antidote signet in case you're blinded.

I use Oath Shot in my (PvE) trapper build as well. Great way to recharge Whirling defence and re-apply traps. I know the KD in Spike trap is pretty funky, but can someone tell me its other benefits over Oath Shot in PvP?
