Thematic tournaments?

I was thinking about thematic tournaments between guilds. Each "tournament" would have a specific theme as follows:

Warriors only. Second professions are all available. Up to 3 monks only per team, etc.

Necros only. All second professions are available. No primary monks!

You get the idea...

Just a thought. You could come up with some crazy terms, etc.

An interesting idea and really one that would "show off" different builds and skills. It'd be fascinating to see how a group of necros or mesmers would "compliment" one another's builds.

I think they need to have normal tournaments before they start thinking about "thematic" tournaments.

i think they should have huge free for alls where any number of people can join and your fighting everyone at once. i would play those even though im sure i would always die horribly.

That would be a nice idea. All those lonely warriors...

I could imagine it though. 16 warriors all running 3 or 4 stances each...
Or better yet, 16 w/mo with healing breeze, healing hands and mending...

I would like to see 8 monks vs. 8 monks.

people would just play the role of their 2nd, like if it was all ele, you know those eles are going to be carrying a load of spirits.

That's the whole point. Of course if you had an all warrior tournament, there would be 2 or 3 warriors with stalves, etc. as designated healers, etc.
