Something that seems to happen to new guilds that are pvp oriented, is when u play the first few guild battles, everything is great. You use 1-2 henches and roll over a bunch of n00b teams getting rating and rank. Then you get to rank <1000 and things start to get tougher. What happens then is, people start thinking we absolutely cannot use henches, start guild battles without the guild leader and have to test out the build in tombs to make sure it works. The effect being, your guild simply stops doing GvG. People think not playing at all is better then loosing a few battles. But you could learn a lot from and get better from the losses. It's the only true way of improving. The guilds rating will reflect your overall skill level anyway if you just keep playing.
I have joined two guilds and they both have the same problem. I quitted the first after I realised their not going to GvG ever again after our first loss (!). Now the 2nd guild im in I even talked a lot on the subject with them but they still don't seem to realise it, and now it seems it's too late for them too.
Anyone else have similar experiences? Are there any guilds at all that value fighting inactivity and getting better more then keeping your rating/rank or "clean stats" (few losses as possible)?
