Found a New Weapon (For me at least)

Running Hell's Precipace last night, I received a drop for a "Swamp Club" from a portal wraith; It is of the hammer subtype, however I have not heard or seen the item before. This includes during the beta's and over 700 hours since release. None of the 6 guildmates had heard of it either. My question to you is: Have you seen heard of this before?

Note: White 15-30; req 10, nothing exceptional except it's type.

Yes, i have heard of it. It's nothing special. Except that they are only dropped by wraiths and a few undead. What i mean by it isnt anything special is that it doesnt look unique.

Swamp Clubs were considered all the rage of the drinking scene back in the late 70's, in and around southern Louisiana. Alcohol was finally catching a foot-hold outside the local dives and couches were placed in these Swamp Clubs and soon there-after, as people became comfortable in these new gathering places, Southern Comfort came into being.

In other words: Nope, have yet to hear of them, always nice to see new things in the game tho.

the Swamp Clubs I've seen (from the Marhan Grotto chest) looks like a Ram Hammer - nothing exciting to look at...

I hope they add a new hammer in the upcoming content so the hammos finally get their "uber"/godly looking one but I'm not holding my breath.

Exactly. I said that it didn't look unique, and i meant that it just looks like a rams hammer.... Very sad really.. it has a cool name and it's so god dam rare.. but nobody will know looking at you wearing it..

This might be like the 15k armours though - art that is simply yet to be installed. Then you might get some nasty looking rotten log type thing that truly deserves the name "swamp club"

Along these lines - last week, I found an Ivory Bow. Crappy damage, so I figure it wasn't worth anything - but I have never seen one before....

Yesterday to names of items paired up and it said, Flat Bow Idol. I ran up to it and it separated, aaww man.

I found a swamp club one day and got all excited too.

I had found an magmas arm in hell's precipes before.... not quite sure how new it is... but currently it does not have a special look (assuming later it would)

I was on that mission, its interesting that I read here swamp club ... bah nothing special ... except maybe its one of the rarer hammers in the game ...

Magma Arms are dropped there alot, don't know what value it has yet, another to be continued story I guess.

Well its too bad it had no inkling (pardon my spelling) of future work. Odd that an item named swamp club ... drops in hell's precipice ??? no swamp for miles
