Language problems aside, this is innaccurate. My items will not disappear as soon as Anet releases an expansion. That said, I would like to say that I am one of those people that enjoys the trading and mercantile aspect of the game (ie. WTS THIS, WTS THAT!!!) and that for me is fun in and of itself. I also enjoy PvP greatly, and now that I've gotten enough plat to basically buy anything I need, I am now focusing on that.

It's because of all the anti-warrior snobs around, and this thread is like catnip to anti-warrior snobs. The guy merely happened to mention that he had fun playing a slugfest warrior battle and people just can't help but assume he's mentally retarted because, like, all warriors are retarted or noobs or both.

At least he didn't say he was a W/Mo because they are the lowest of the low and it really would have been very messy.

How does a bunch of warriors hacking at each other for an hour require that much skill?

well, let's review this.
they lasted an hour. that is allready quite an accomplishment with 8 warriors.
That means that they had to press the 'healing signet' button in time probably, because playing 4 mending of all warriors is to much a burden for the 2 regen energy warriors have.
It also means that they were carefull to not spike to much when one of them uses Healing signet. Say one of the swordwarriors had Final Thrust, and a critcal heal was needed from the signet by one of the opponents. Heaven forbid that they used Final thrust on that time. It might have killed someone. That also takes skill.

aside from that, I let they original poster explain how it was possible that this match lasted an hour. Surely there must be a better explanation then the one I provided.

If this forum actually has a guideline for using proper english, then I am sure there must also be some guideline about not being such depressing dorks that you have to make fun of this poor person for sharing one of the many stories within this "game". People in "the real life" will skip work to watch a baseball "game". This is entirely common behavior to most of the populous. Someday you might discover what society really is. And until that day comes, I guess you can just linger here and make fun of people for whatever twisted reason you can come up with.

Maybe hes from Singapore... Is the Singaporean so called "Local" language "incorrect" English?

Would you say that any dialect of the English language other than North-Eastern American is incorrect?

OP has some skills in getting the fun out of battles unlike some people here who cant seem to do it because they trying too hard to win

Its his choice to skip work or whatnot to play a game. If there is any loss, it wont be yours right?

English is not everyone's 1st language and if they are using it, please respect them for trying. Of course, adding symbols here and there do not count.
