Althea Barradin Rememberance Ceremony

Lately I've been getting more and more bored of Guild Wars, and I thought back to when I was new at the game and the things I did. I remembered fondly of Althea Barradin, and was outraged that she had to die. Now, she is whispering amongst the Mists forgotten. I feel that it is our duty as mesmers, to offer our respect and rememberance for her. She was once the greatest mesmer in the land, who often shined bright of her perseverance and virtue.

I want to arrange an event where mesmers alike can gather and remember the young matron of Ascalon.

If Althea were still alive today, she would teach us that there are always two sides to things, such as illusion and truth, mind and body. For the other side in reference to the ceremony, I believe that we should congregate in a Mesmer festival/party where we can all communicate, drink, dance, and toast to Althea, to electrify the Mists and bring a positive atmosphere. This event would be very entertaining and unique to the world of Tyria. After all, it's fun to have so many mesmers all in one place

Mesmer primaries ONLY! That means no W/Me, N/Me, Mo/Me, E/Me, R/Me whatsoever!

Were Althea and Rurik ever actually married? I know they were engaged... did they squeeze it in right before the searing? Poor unconsummated love.

And I dont see why only Mesmer Primaries can come, she was an Ascalonian just like all the everyone else. (Well, except the Dwarves, Krytans and Orrions...obviously.) I thought she was great and I was soooo angry when I found out she was dead, so I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to come.

Didn't we help inter her ashes? Or did just reading the title of the quest and following the green arrow betray me again?

The Bitch deserved to die she was having it away with half the army in town. Stick a memorial brothel up in her honour and we can have some fun out of it.

Sounds interesting. I may just stop by on my main(the Me/R in my char list. And yes, it's a she. I'm a guy, damnit! I need a hot character to stare at! :P ) and see how this little party goes down.
