Fellblades: Love them or hate them?

I personally hate fellblades. Why do people hype them up so much, it is just a black stick with a point.

Wingblades and butterfly swords look so much better (IMO).

Edit: I forgot about my Flamberge that I adore.

I like the old shadow swords most, but Fellblades are pretty cool (I use one even though it sucks... I don't rely on the damage from it). They're unique and they're big enough to be a bastard sword (otherwise known as a hand and a half).

... I wish I could get an Eternal Sword...

Not a sword warrior myself(hammer variety), but I always thought the Flamberg looked the best of the swords about. Even the much fabled Shadowsword didn't compare imho. And the fact that almost nobody has them just adds to it. Actually I think I only ever got 1 Flamberg. If I get another max damage one I may have to convert for looks.

First lusted after the Tribal Blade when I started my warrior. Found tons pre searing with my mesmer but couldn't find a half decent one with my warrior.

Spathas have a nice look to them as well. Unusual.

Felblades never did it for me. Not really into oversized weaponry. Its how you use the thing, not the size.

i like wingblades and flamebrges the best but fellblade looks cool with shadow/magmas shield and ur armor died black

Reminds me of Cloud from FFVII's sword. Personally, it looks alright but the longsword has the best graphic in the game.

Longsword is by far the best looking. It's the only sword that really looks like a sword that is able to deal damage..

How much work could it take for Anet to add in some sexy new skins, especially that beautiful Shadow Blade? I think they need to take this in consideration as a way of expanding the game .

I prefer to use a longsword or flamberge myself. But I'm always delighted to find a fellblade because of it's high resale.

Another vote for Flamberge here... Got a zealous gold one with slightly below maxdamage, and even though I find plenty of maxdamage other swords, I'm keeping it for the looks. Plus it's zealous, which isnt so common.

I for one, love oversized weapons. My female R/W used one for a brief period of time, she's the shortest possible height, and holding a fellblade in one hand and a crimson carapce shield in the other just looked ridiculously funny. I think the sword was longer than she was tall. LOL.

I've always wanted a pink fellblade (the actual blade part, not just the handle). I can just imagine people running away at the amazing pink fellblade.

I've never cared for Fellblades - I can see why people would like a big, black sword, but I think it just looks gaudy. I'm partial to the Wingblade and Spatha models - nice, tasteful fantasy swords.

I like the longsword and flamberge...black jagged peace of metal just doesn't say 'sword' to me. ANyway, the longsword is bloody big enough to be a greatsword....ooo greatsword.....19-35 damage using sword skills.............

I like Fellblades and brute swords becasue they are HUGE! And i have a very small char so it looks cool haveing a sword that is a long as i am tall : D

I hate 'em. While its possible for something like that to exsist (some of the hammers are pushing it ) it would be a tad unpratical. I like my items to mimick their real life counterparts. Spells and magic aside of course.

Shadow Blade was a nice black sword. Not too big, but nice.

Spatha and Flamberge as is though.

like my fellblade just fine.at first i liked fiery dragon swords,but changed to fellblades after a while.my fav swords are like this

2.longsword
3.fiery dragon sword

Fellblades are big. Its as big as my whole character. Big swords for big men. LOL.

IDK, if I found a sword that was better than my Fellblade, I'd definatly use it, but not only is my fellblade sexy, its powerful.
