Pet question

For the time being im a E/R and i have a lvl 12 pet. Because of farming and PvP i need to do a constant switch beetwen Monk and a Ranger. So I'm wondering if i would change class, when I change it back would I still have my pet?

yes, if you swap your secondary ranger out.. and then swap secondary back to ranger you'll still have your pet.. it's name.. evolution.. etc.

The only way to permanently remove a pet is via the pet tamer npc. Swapping secondaries doesn't remove your pet when you go back to ranger secondary.
