Will guilds be wiped at release?

Sorry, I was getting an error with the search function before and couldn't tell if my question had been adressed or not. Looks like it has, so feel free to ignore/delete this.

I don't know if AN has decided on that matter yet. I would guess that guilds would be wiped, if only because there's a cost to making guilds. They might find a way to reserve just the guild name though.

I agree. There are so many guilds already established, it would be a shame to wipe their names, or capes for that matter. With all guild members pitching in, the cost of re-establishing the guild wouldn't amount to much.

official statement says the only thing saved is your character at the first level with the name of that character

i think everything should be started back to zero, including guilds
that way everyone must pay the gold to get one started then and not hve an extra 50 gold just because they started one earlier, i know 50 gp isnt that much, but i still think they should

or atleast wipe the ladder, start everythin back at 0 wins, 0 losses

I don't mind them being wiped (lol, I don't have any wins or losses) but I'd like them to remain intact... like when I start up on April 27, I don't want to have to make the guild all over again... you know? Someone might rush in a make "The Fianna" or some other guild... Reset is alright, but a total deletion...

Yeah, I do hope they let us at least keep the names and then re-establish the guilds.

they said it would be a clean wipe and mentioned guilds would have to be reestablished

so if you have a guild name you want to keep i would be waiting at the stroke of midnight of the 27th to jump in and reregister the name

if the charge is 50 have all of the guild members out grabbing some gold to pool it as fast to get what is necessary
